Yes it is. Both games in thread header are on sale for $39.99 at SoCal Fry's actually.
Go consume.
Oh....NOW I'M PISSED!!! I was at the Fry's in City of Industry yesterday to pick up Metroid Prime 2 for $39.99, after Wario64 made that other thread. The game was marked as $49.99 with no sale price listed anywhere, so I tracked down a clerk and asked him if it was indeed on sale. He of course was clueless, but said if I saw it in the ad, then that price should be valid. So I get to the checkout and the girl rings it up as $49.99. I told her that was the wrong price, and informed her of the deal in the ad. Not having an ad immediately handy, she went to check on it. A whole ten or fifteen minutes later, she comes back and tells me that it's not on sale, and the price was in fact $49.99. I was understandably annoyed, but I didn't take it out on her. I politely asked if I could see a copy of their ad, and she directed me to the front door, where it was posted. Sure enough, Metroid was not in the ad.

Accepting defeat, I left peacefully. Fry's is lucky that they've given me so many good deals in the past, or I might of had to firebomb their ass.

But I didn't really blame them. I figured that Wario had probably posted Bay Area deals without specifying that that was what they were for, and that I in my haste to take advantage of the deal, didn't clarify that it was also good for SoCal. I had put it behind me, until now.
Tell me GAF, did I get hosed?
After I left Fry's I went directly to Best Buy and picked up MP2: Echoes, at full price, minus $30 worth of reward zone certificates and gift cards. So I still made out okay, but now I need to go about price matching Metroid to get my $10 back. The ad image in the link is probably to small, and Best Buy might not honor it if it is illegable. Does anyone have a larger image that I could print out? Thanks for the help guys.
