Come on GAF...

You guys probably already knew, but I just woke up and saw pre-loading on Steam has begun! :) Now hopefully my internet can download it before it officially launches.

Solid 7.5-8. Batmobile combat makes it tempting to drop a couple of points. It's just the same thing over and over, never evolves like the hand to hand has/does. Story is serviceable, you see everything coming a mile away. Not sure I'd ever replay this story simply because of the batmobile segments and that's coming from someone that replayed AA, AC and AO multiple times. It's a huge detriment, at least for me.
Thanks for the impressions.

It had a cool system but a boring world, boring characters, boring missions, and a fucking flaccid train wreck of an ending. The idea of SoM being GOTY grosses me out.

The first 4 hours in batman, most just fucking about was better then the 20 it took to get platinum in mordor

that game was boring as hell.

Need someone to deflate my hype and stop my from spending money I don't have on this until payday in a couple of weeks.

Kill my interest GAF.

Ordered the normal version with the Harley Quinn DLC pre-order bonus for £36.95 from GameCollection, i didn't order before as i wanted to see the reviews & what people who had received the game early had to say, the reports seem to say the game is good/very good.

I have played the previous games & enjoyed them, i'm not going to bother with the season pass though.

any impressions of the language in the game? I enjoyed AA a lot, but AC became a 'play when the kids are in bed' because of all the swearing - especially all the 'bitch' calls in relation to Catwoman. (haven't played origins)

Is this more AA or AC in terms of language?

This is the first one that's rated "M" in the series. So I'm guessing closer to AC. Probably a kids in bed game.

I'm in France and apparently pre-load on my PS4 is not going to start before 11pm tonight, just one hour before the actual release date ! That's just great, it means I probably won't be able to play this game before the week-end. This is the last time I pre-order a game on PSN...

I agree with this, i stopped playing after i think 6 hours? Got really board of traversing the world in god mode.
