Mr. Brightside
All These Things That I've Done

Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine
When You Were Young

Will definitely be watching a non-live, non-technical issues fuckery replay in the coming days.

I'm in the bonus tracks section of my first full listen of the album (this remix is not very good). Overall I like the album. Flesh and Bone is probably my favorite track. Going to check out the concert at some point soon. And... The Killers are awesome :D

What in the world was the thing with the eagle during the beginning of the Unstaged? Weird. And the beginning where they're in the dressing room - "What time do we go on?" How odd.

Need a bunch of listens before I rank it, but after one playthrough, Flesh and Bone through MAB is a godly run of 7 tracks.

Wow. I just watched the rebroadcast - did they cut out a BUNCH of songs from the middle? I definitely didn't hear the cover of "Forever Young," which I was waiting for... but I'm pretty sure they skipped over others.

Just got home. Glad to see more positive views. Knew you would like it, Solo! But I'm surprised anyone couldn't think Be Still is nothing more than awesome.

Surprised to see that the broadcast was fucked up. I guess I didn't miss much for not watching it LIVE.

Just picked up the deluxe edition. I kind of hate the packaging, doesn't go well with my other killers albums. And they never fuckin put the lyrics

I've listened to it 3 times now @ work.

I really like most of it. Whoever said the comment of F&B to MAB is great is definitely right. And I really like Prize Fighter. Looking forward to listening to it at home tonight.

is it me or is the overall tempo of battleborn considerably slower than other killers albums?

Definitely, but I don't think thats a bad thing necessarily (not to mention that Runaways might be their most rocking track ever). I just love how different all 4 albums are. These guys evolve constantly. Probably why they're about the only band or their era that survived. BB is different from everything else they've done, and you know album 5 will be different than BB.

Can't wait to give it a second listen tonight!

yeah, i can dig that. i especially loved how different day and age sounded after sams town... i'll probably be listening to nothing but battleborn for a little while.. right now it certainly hasnt grabbed me like their other stuff, but i'll keep trying for a bit. and yer right runaways is pretty rockin, love it. probably my favorite track on here. i really like the way it was too tho.

I would stack the first 7 tracks of BB up against the 7 best tracks from any of the other albums. Day And Age loses right away, as it doesn't even have 7 good tracks :lol

you are insane! i'd say the same about battleborn. ah well, different strokes..

My gut feeling after 1 BB listening and MANY listenings of the others is that:

Hot Fuss > Sam's Town = Battle Born > Day And Age

I'm glad everyone can agree that the first 7 songs of Battle Born are pretty great. It drops off a bit after that but after a few listens, I start to like the later songs some more.
Except Be Still. I almost always skip that.

Hot Fuss = Sam's Town > Day & Age >>> Battle Born

I do like Runaways, but other than that? I don't know, man. I don't know.

Sam's Town > Hot Fuss = BB > Sawdust = D&A. I love every single album though.

Now I need to have some great live versions of Runaways, MAB and F&B.

I've always loved The Killers and after the first listen, was sorely disappointed with BB. Today, though, I gave it another chance. Seems just like one of those albums that grows on you over time.

So far, fav tracks are Here With Me, Be Still, and the Flesh and Bone Remix

Concert is streaming again right now! Only on the second song (Somebody Told Me; missed Runaways). Looking forward to seeing the stuff that we missed during the weather blackouts.

EDIT: they definitely DID cut out a TON of songs from the replay - the fuck?

:_(

amazing album, love it so much
i really rate flowers, always considered him a very good songwriter with great potential

catch you darlin' ill be waiting, i am on your side

damn what a gorgeous bridge

Holy shit this album. I've had it on repeat all day. Heart of a Girl might be my favorite, but the whole album is so good. Way exceeded expectations, and the Killers one of my top 5 bands.

Gonna give the album another go... I think the first time my head was in the wrong place listening. Totally wasn't what I was expecting (which isn't a bad thing) just at the time left a bad taste in my mouth.

I'm still listening to the album, so that's a good sign

I still think Human is better than most of the songs off this album, save for Runaways

I don't even know how many times I've listened to this album. At least a couple times today while putting together a computer on top of three-ish times yesterday. It works whether listening to it or just background noise. I like it.

On another note, I don't think I've ever listened to Sam's Town in its entirety...

I have listened to it about 5 times so far, love it, some of the weaker tracks towards the end are starting to grow on me more too. Just watching the Unstaged stuff now whilst at work :D
