Battlefield 6 Beta |OT| Open Beta/Closed Weapons.

What setting is everyone using on PS5 Pro, Balanced or Performance?

Oh and Breakthrough rocks. I'm a Conquest veteran since BF1942 and I find myself playing Breakthrough almost exclusively.

Both PRO and PS5 are performance as far as I remember. 120hz only works that way, at least on base PS5.

I cant tell if its cheaters or bugs/glitches/etc in this game... driving me a little crazy. Some people literally stand or lay prone in place killing like 15 plus people while everyone shoots them and they dont die. I dont understand this, this almost feels worse than COD cheating at times.

Ok got into a game and holy shit.

It runs great on 3080. It's really good.. only thing the gun takes up so much space, I haven't looked can you change that?

I think people have found some glitchy spots allowing them to shoot from and even though I can see almost their entire body laying prone my sniper bullets wont touch them

I see the bullets hit something but not their bodies

In the controller options there appear to be gyro aiming controls (with even some tweaking as zoom only, etc.), but they do not seem to be usable. Is everyone able to use them in game?
It's just placeholder or they are actually usable but bugged for me?

Do support ammo box suppose to stack? Just played Iberia map and chucking c4 over the wall to the objective. I got 1 c4 refilled every 2s. I think I got 15+ K/A in 20s. That didn't seems right

All the games have been really infantry heavy, I head someone say they were taking down heli's but I haven't been on a single map with air yet not that I would be able to do shit against them with the regular rpg. Hope they have the full gamut of vehicles including boats in the full game.
Destruction has been mediocre, more BF4 than BC2.
Other than that game has been surprisingly polished for a beta - in better shape than BF4 launched in.

Playing on both my 9070xt PC and the PS5 Pro. Is FSR4 being used? Looks great.

Also on Pro- looks very good too on performance mode. I'd be happy to play there too.
FSR3 I think, and it's the cleanest looking one so far even at 1440p..I was actually using XESS but it looked shit, enabled FSR and it looks miles better

Need to set it to UEFI because i didn't last time i upgraded mobo and cpu. Then enable secure boot state.
i understand messing with that shit is scary, but follow the instructions for your mobo and you should be good! the game is def worth trying to know if you want to spend 70 for it.

There's many spots on the maps where there are invisible walls where they shouldn't be. Really prominent on several railings with large gaps yet your shots bounce off.

Played a bunch this afternoon and after not knowing how to feel about it on Thursday, it has really grown on me and so I'll definitely be grabbing it on day one on PS5 Pro.

Siege of Cairo is awful but the other map is a lot of fun on both conquest and breakthrough. I guess it won't be for everyone but it really reminds me of a mix between Medal of Honor (2010) as well as Battlefield 3 and 4.

Those cheating number stats are crazy ,I've never understood the need to cheat that that
I'm doing better than I expected on a controller after moving on from console to pc ,TY to Luipadre Luipadre for that youtube link for controller set up ,It was very handy!
I do not think in my past yrs with BF I've never seen so many engies repair my tank :pie_grinning_big_eyes: but still it seems people do not know how to revive and just walk over you
Ive had 3 crashes (straight to desktop) in 6 hrs of play ,Event viewer showing no reason for the cause:pie_expressionless:

I'm liking this.I'm shit so far,but it makes a nice change from everyone bouncing around on COD

feels good when you win an attack breakthrough. but man i feel like the one team i was on prior to that game, they may have never played a fps in their life. definitely open beta vibes atm

I guess its technically more realistic, but tanks shells not having any drop over distance anymore is a bummer. I liked how in previous games you had to adjust for the drop which made longer distance tank on tank battles more interesting with a higher skill ceiling.

Pretty pretty pretty good

Maybe a bit early to say but battlefield is back mother fuckers and I'm here for it

And is funny that you need to maintain the start button of the Dualsense to see the scoreboard. This is like 'Ok, I'll put scoreboards this time, but will be a loads of layers and obstacles to reach scoreboard'.

Wtf are you on about? Scoreboard has been hold options on ps controller since BF4, when they readdrd it back into BF2042 it went straight onto hold options. How is it beanth layers and oobstacles when it's been the standard on PS for 12 years now.

The urban map is amazing. Probably my favorite experience playing in a military shooter multiplayer since Modern Warfare 2(2009. The only complaint is their are too many players for the map size

After playing 4 hours, I'm not impressed.
Gameplay feels a bit off, as if this was some BF clone.
There is quite a bit of lag, as movement feels sluggish, hit registration is not working properly.
I only played Rush, and the maps are not good. Not terrible. Just lame and boring. They are not well designed, for this game mode.
It's nowhere as bad as BF2042. But it's also not a good Battlefield.

I dont understand how people can say the movement and aiming is sluggish or weird. Im playing on pc at 130+ fps with controller tweaks and everything feels snappy af

I need some of you to disconnect. Go speak with your wives, girlfriend, kids or feed the pets! Nearly 200k in the queue is nuts!

yeah idk. it feels pretty fucking cool running and sliding and weaving between obstacles defibing downed teammates

Logged in on pa5,156k pll in Queue before me,it didnt move one bit for 2 minutes, turn off ps5 and switch to netflix app to watch 1923.

Played most of the day. Got one single person cheating, like surviving all the cannon/mg from the tank. Nothing to serious.

My only real problem is that sometimes looks like people ragequit with much frequency and you end up fightning only with bots.

You forgot to read that the game doesn't always register your input, so you hold the options button to show the scoreboard while you are playing (you know, to see if there is someone with absurd kill count vs death count), but the game instead show you the menu settings, while you are in the game.
