Battlefield 6 Beta |OT| Open Beta/Closed Weapons.

It
This isn't even cheating...
It is cheating, he snaps onto far to many random folk from across the map (out missing a shot) all throughout the video. Some, you could argue but the dude never misses and he's a no body.

A don't ever want to play against PC folk as you don't know who's legit or rampant cheating. Wish devs would stop putting us console folk in there servers and just let us play against other console folk.

It makes me sad we may never see this until we are very old and fiber internet is the norm. I imagine that is what holds it back, but maybe it's just the cost of servers.

Didn't they pull a fast one and do this in a recent BF title but most of the players were just bots?
They had 256v256 back in the day in DF:Joint Ops. Nothing holds 128 back except ...they don't think it a win so they don't do it.

"across the map" here meaning 20 metres in front of them?

"out missing a shot" here meaning missing many shots?

They look fairly well known in the aim trainer community.

It will always fascinate me seeing bad players cry hax the moment they cannot comprehend someone doing something they can't do. Unfortunately for everyone you gaslight yourselves into thinking you're actually good and somehow know what is involved in the highest levels of play.

Farming hacusations is always a fun part of playing casual shooters.

How do you know that the non believers are bad players?

Like I said earlier watch top level COD players then go watch this guys Youtube channel. It's aimbot.

Nobody is crying about something they can't do, get a grip. Do I cry every weekend when I watch pro sports as well?

A don't know bud, that you in the video? Defending this guy offahard.

If you say the tank that's he's lazering the guy on is 20m away and the guys at the end of the street who he's layering then sure 😂 he's cheating clear as day. There are multiple instances in the video (if you watched it) where he's lazering folk from well over 20m.

300,000 attempts at bypassing the anti cheat in 1 or 2 days just shows you how many are trying to cheat in the the game and some can it seems.

Put some time in the beta. Ttk is fast but shock pads are faster. Its funny seeing 3 teamates down in a row and I just revive them as quick as a I can press the trigger.
Agree with the cramped maps. Easy to get back from point to point in cq but the lanes only allows at most 2 tanks. Jeeps are pretty useless here and just generally less vehicle warfare overall than I was expecting.

Yes the maps are cramped and I liked it. This is what I missed from 2042 things were too open to me.
Wish devs would stop putting us console folk in there servers and just let us play against other console folk.

This is what I'm saying. Hacking was insane on R6 on PC also it was ruining the game for me.

So much drama when console-players can just disable crossplay.

Let PC deal with their own shit.

Infantry only maps are so fucking dumb for Conquest, Rush, and Breakthrough.

Not the reason I play Battlefield.

Two of the maps in the Beta are already 90% infantry.

Not only that. 90% of the folks this weekend playing this dumb maps are infantry, the 10% are medics that not even do support or revive.

As much as their intention for make Battlefield good like the old times, a lot of choises they did are for attract CoD players.

Always fascinates me when people seem to think its not a huge problem in online games when EA themselves admitted to stopping 330,000 attempts early on in the beta and over 100k reports that they passed on to their Gameplay integrity team

  • We are already using these with our own Gameplay Integrity team to add and improve our detections for Battlefield 6. They are also working with the Battlefield Positive Play team, to actively remove those reported we confirm to be cheaters.

Anyone who thinks its not an issue in MP are either a fool or are one of those people that think cheating is fun

Alright, this was literally my first Battlefield experience ever.

First Impressions from a Call of Duty Aficionado:

• Graphics, first and foremost, are a noticeable and welcome step up from COD MP. Bodes well for SP.
• Game looks and runs great on a base PS5.
• Sound design matches the high standards I expect from a shooter. Just as good as COD.
• Kill notifications are too hard to read. Often I'm not even sure if I got the kill. This needs to be more noticeable. Especially frag grenades. I'll throw one and have no idea if I got the kill.
• How the fuck do you check your kill/death count mid-game???
• Movement feels more "realistic" compared to COD. Though… I do miss the slide. Sue me. Overall, the movement feels very good.
• Modern Warfare, imo, has perfected gunplay in videogames. This title is almost on par but overall, COD weapons still feel better to shoot.
• Destruction is amazing. Every war shooter should have destruction. COD not having it is a joke.
• Every map has an awesome atmosphere, Looks, feels, and sounds like war.
• Voice acting, commentary from NPC's, etc, all better than COD MP.
• I'm a fan of the smaller maps. Pretty much COD with a serious tone, no stupid skins, and destruction. Sign me up.
• Vehicles are great, though I have no clue where to find jets, so I never got to try one. Helicopter was taken every time by other players. Only got to drive ground vehicles.
• The gunsmith UI feels like a cheaper version of COD's; it's not as polished or user-friendly.

Overall, loved the little I played. (Got to level 8 after 7-10 matches of various game types)

Love the tone, graphics, sound and destruction. Gunplay is fucking solid. UI and In-game HUD could use some work.

I wish my aim was that good.

I'm only good enough for the regular hacusation from shitters, not good enough for the constant ones yet.

For the umpteenth time, you being too shit to do this doesn't make someone who can a cheater.

So much drama when console-players can just disable crossplay.

Let PC deal with their own shit.

Console players are quite well known for being little more than bots for PC players to feed on.

Keep telling yourself its a huge problem. Its a coping mechanism because you can't handle the fact that you really are that bad compared to good players. 99.9% of people who cry hax are just bad and crying about someone who is significantly better than them. I see it all the time. For every cheater that I rarely come across in thousands of hours of gameplay, there are hundreds of people crying about cheaters. I even get people crying about me supposedly cheating when they are worse than a retarded bot.

The overwhelming majority amount of people who were "blocked" by BF6 anti cheat simply had normal background programs running. Stuff like RTSS and any one of several controller mapping programs caused issues etc.

Seems like getting dropped super fast might be a bug.

That would explain a lot because had times I died almost instantly at full health

That's counterstrike? I was comparing the videos the cheater has on their youtube directly against COD pro videos.

Look im not saying snap aiming isn't possible of course it is. But that CS player probably has thousands of hours in that particular game and knows it inside out.

This game has been out a couple of days, nobody can be that familiar with the maps, guns and spawns in that amount of time.

We've had crossplay long enough to know there barely is any difference between PC and console players.

Maybe a small percentage of top-players where the differences are noticeable, but in general it's rather even.

At this point instead of saving faces he's just arguing to argue.

Don't waste your time going back and forth with the greatest FPS player on Gaf

I got a few of my COD only playing friends on the smaller modes for a night and they absolutely loved it.

After more time with it. I can say that the game feels pretty great, but the 3 maps in the beta are awful and not Battlefield. Apparently it's the same 3 maps for the second beta, but they're adding a 4th one: Empire State. I thought this NYC map was gonna be a Siege of Shanghai style map and was excited to finally see a big map with verticality and water combat but it seems it's an infantry only map. Talk about disappointment.

These small CoD type maps are ruining what could've been a great BF game. A shame really cause the rest is pretty damn good.

The maps are nothing like COD maps. They are miles bigger.

You are crying the moment you have to resort to calling out someone for cheating because you cannot understand how good players can be.

Sorry that you see cheaters in every bush because you cannot handle being out played.

That's counterstrike? I was comparing the videos the cheater has on their youtube directly against COD pro videos.

This game has been out a couple of days, nobody can be that familiar with the maps, guns and spawns in that amount of time.

You mean the videos with mouse cam they make it clear they are actually aiming like the game shows? Whats the handwave excuse you'll use, "soft aim and faking mouse cam to match"? Or going straight to the buttplug vibrating to tell them how to play good?

That player has thousands of hours... in just an aim trainer called kovaaks... They probably played 10+ hours of the beta per day.

You taking a long time to become familiar is a you problem. By day 2 I had most of the maps intricacies understood and I've been out of shooters for near 2 years on the lead up to the beta only just jumping back in the last week or so.

As for how I can say the "non believers" are bad players, it's pretty clear.

A bad player sees that and instantly thinks cheating. They cannot fathom fast accurate aim. Its impossible, even for a computer.

A good player looks at it and just thinks, yeah ok, they're just flicks. Good flicks, but flicks never the less. Constantly needs corrections due to under or over shooting the target. But they still bullseyed those womprats.

The closest thing to a suss shot was the infamous rock shot but on a cursory glance it's clear the player was on the map and the flick landed no where near them.

We've had crossplay long enough to know there barely is any difference between PC and console players.

Maybe a small percentage of top-players where the differences are noticeable, but in general it's rather even.

Yea, this just isn't true at all. When battlefield added cross play with 2042 it was obvious who was on console just by the way they played.

While the average battlefield player is particularly bad at shooters, the console ones take it to another level.

Here is someone breaking it down, maybe slowly enough for the droolers to keep up with it.

Based on their descriptions, we getting 1 more smaller infantry map other than the manhattan one from 2nd weekend and the rest are medium/large sized maps

Obviously they are bigger than CoD maps. I'm talking about the closed-off multi-lane design with no verticality and no complex structures. The only structures at all in all 3 maps are simple box houses and some basic city 2 story-apartments.

The mountain map feels like Wake Island from BF1943 it's so tiny and simplistic. If you take the jet in that map you fly across the whole thing in less than 3 seconds. You're just making U-turns the whole time to stay inbounds.

Real BF maps are bigger, you can go anywhere (any rooftop) filled with multi-story complex structures you can enter, tons of verticality, hidden passageways, filled with vehicles including transport helicopters to get around fast, including boats. I don't think BF6 even has any water at all, I guess we'll see if the Empire State map does but since it's infantry only the water is probably out of bounds.

You are very condensing. You are assuming for some reason I am jealous in some way that I cannot play at the highest level. I am a filthy caual and have no desire to play any other way than half drunk.

I know cheating when I see it.

Good. They understand how BF is supposed to be (can't believe i am even saying this after bf2042 holy shit), and i don't get why so many are bitching.

Im really curious about the rest of the vehicles. Im afraid we wont see a littlebird at launch, but the quads are definitely there and the black hawks too

Bigger maps are in the post as i'm sure you are aware. There is at least 4 classic maps getting remade that we know of and 3 large scale maps in the game at launch.

Its even funnier when you think about BFBC2 map design. It was literally like this and its the holy grail for a lot of people. Not for me tho, while i liked BC2, i always thought it wasnt even a real BF game, because of the smaller playercount, map design and no planes

The fact that Operation Firestorm is coming back means there will be a focus on large scale maps, Liberation Peak gave us a little taste of larger maps, albeit that that map i would say was mid sized, still felt great to play.

If the classic maps were to be integrated into the primary playlists, that would be much better than 2042 did segregating some damn good classic maps into Portal, segregation needs to be kept at absolute minimums, even game mods etc, that's what I think.

Im pretty sure they will be since firestorm already in the launch lineup. I still think they gonna do 1 new and 1 remaster map per season which is great for me. There were like 3 more remaster maps already in the leaks
