Battlefield 6 Beta |OT| Open Beta/Closed Weapons.

Hi guys im live right now for anyone interested, I have one very loyal viewer right now. lol
Rush is good, but its very intense need reflexes of a cat.

 
Rush isnt very well balanced. Felt relieved when I went back to conquest. The maps are far too small and conjester for it. You literally spawn run 10m die repeat.
 
Have had a couple of crashes on PC with all updated drivers so tried going back to PS5 and clicking the start button does nothing

Game feels buggier than last weekend maybe its just me

The more I play, the more these maps feel like they're from an era where console limitations were a concern and thus affected map sizes and flow. They all feel terrible to me, like a massive over-correction from 2042's giant nothing maps to these congested, tiny masses of corridors intertwining 2 main lanes. Honestly gone from buy to wait and see how many actual battlefield maps come out in the first 6 months or so.

and man separate the supply bags and nerf the health regen. There shouldn't be 1 bag that does everything, give ammo bags to supply and health bags back to assault.

I only played one match before I go to work . It didn't crash or anything on pc but the frames are lower than the last beta . Not sure if some graphical settings have changed I have to look into the settings when I get back

Frames were lower for me as well, I skimmed through my settings and didn't see any changes, will try PC again later after the DLSS patch though repairing my files fixed that issue for me
 
Played a bit.

They need to ditch any semblance of Battlefield and lean much harder into COD cloning. You can't walk it back, the maps are already designed and locked in around COD, but the game doesn't lean hard enough and that's an extreme gamble when you consider this is full priced and the real deal is on Gamepass.

Vince is worried, you can feel it in the game, dude, just go all the way, youre like three quarters there if you pussy out it's over.

I think they're fine. Just go play COD. It broke COD's record on Steam because people are more excited for something which isn't COD.

Sorry I am confused. There is dlss problem ? Repairing files fixed if ? How did u repair files ? Through steam repair?
 
Game still feels like garbage to me.

Every game has felt like deathmatch. Weapons feel like pea shooters. Feels too much like a CoD game overall.

Delta Force is currently way more fun to play. The moment to moment combat is way better and you actually feel like you're on a team because people work together.

Even BF 2042 was better at launch. Hopefully they figure something out by release, but people seem to like this so they probably won't change much.

I'll give it some more chances but at this point I've quit almost every match before it even ended.

BF 2042 felt like it was fucking vibe coded at launch, bro. But yes, it was 30% COD, this one is 65% COD, bad territory, needs to be pushed to 90% IMO or it's tickets for them.

If it was up to me I'd fucking floor it to 95% for the sake of the company, hire a metal band to do match intros, 6v6, Shipment map, dynamic aim assist based on performance for psychological hooking dialed up to 11, weed jokes, Hollywood VA talent, work the patriotism and nationalism angles to the point of comedy, shameless bullshit!

Yeah for some reason the DLSS option is missing and repairing the files via Steam repair fixed it for some, including me

EA has said a patch in coming to fix it, don't know when it goes live, might have already

My favourite class is garbage
The visual noise and audio clutter are off the charts. BF4 and 1 are much easier to parse, this one feels like staring at a stereogram.
I don't like it and I hope it flops

You know, nobody is forcing you to play it, stop wasting your time and enjoy Delta Force instead.
