Battlefield 6 Beta |OT| Open Beta/Closed Weapons.

They should drop the campaign a couple of days early, if only to get some people signed in and ease the burden on the servers.

Was not a fan of the beta opening at a very specific time resulting in long queues. It is going to be a bloodbath on the 10th.

Other than the first couple hours they seemed really on top of the queues in the beta. I don't think I waited more than a few minutes both weekends.

I think we'll be fine (famous last words).

They have a good idea of how many people will be at ground zero. If things shit the bed then they only have themselves to blame.

That was because they launched at 5pm in Europe and everyone was trying to log in at once :messenger_grinning_smiling: It will happen again and Youtubers will get their 'BF6 opening day disaster' drama.

Working overseas so ill be in bed at launch but hopefully things normalise by Saturday evening.

Whoever thought this was a good idea to launch at primetime on a weekend is either a genius or will be on welfare by the Monday.

It's certainly not genius. When Cod was in it's golden age, the servers would be switched on a few days before. Launch was at midnight for each region, so only the really dedicated players would be trying to play as soon as possible.

Opening the dam at a really specific time when half the world has clocked off from work is retarded.

Wishful thinking, but you'd think networks have evolved somewhat since then.

COD seems to cope with global launches these days without too much trouble.

OR

Battlefield 6 - $400 Million in the Making
