Battlefield Hardline |OT| Battlefield FIVE-O

I'll try to get it this week.
But usually physical copies take about a week to reach here... and i dont have any PSN funds to buy it on the PSN Store.

H O T W I R E B O Y S

I still have yet to try it in the full game.

Actually, I still haven't tried rescue or crosshair.

Addicted to Heists and Blood money yo.

Thinking of purchasing this on PC, but is anyone able to tell me if I should be sweet with running the game smoothly on these PC specs?

i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680
16 GB RAM

Cheers!

Anyone able to help me as to whether these specs should be fine?

so, when is the review embargo lifted? i am hesitating to preorder this game on psn because i am worried that the game will not live up to my expectations..

Ending sucks. Final part is also some bullshit. I died so many times trying to kill those last guys. The story does pick up really well towards the end, even if it is a bit silly at a point, but the ending really leaves a bad taste. Fun to breeze through but not much more. Still need play MP.

This game's going to get buried by the reviews...unless EA's marketing budget takes care of that problem for them.

Judging by the fact that those specs would net you Ultra at 60ish fps in BF4, I'm assuming you won't have a problem with Hardline.

And since he has an AMD GPU he can always use Mantle as well. From what I can tell even my rig can max out BF4 and I'm on an R9 280X and an FX-6300

Edit: Here's a video of the 6300 (at 4ghz) running it on ultra at 50-60 FPS coupled with a 270X: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xjmgtJ5wTg
And that's the beta. I think this game will run fairly well for most of us

Do you have some inside info on this, because from what I played of EA Access, I found the MP to be very good...the resolution on XB1 slightly bothered me, but I was swayed from completely avoiding the game to pre-ordering it for PS4 after spending 6 or 7 hours online with it.

I'm hoping this will fulfill my online gaming fix until Battlefront, but I wonder if releasing this so close to Bloodborne will have an effect the size of the online community.

Unlocks in 2 minutes where I'm living. My GPU is a 290X, so if anyone wants very brief impressions on its performance, I'll give it to you in an hour.

I feel like it's the start of something good. It's not there yet but I hope they keep this series going. I just don't care to gripe about video games, so the MP is going to keep me interested at least until September (with a mixed bag of other games). It may not garner the same visual "awe" that BF4 did but I feel like it plays better than it's predecessor, even in 720p.

So this game just came in the mail. I'm hesitant to open it without any reviews. Will hold out I guess, even though I am dying to scratch my FPS itch.

Ok managed to spend about 90 minutes (first 2 chapters in SP) since it was unlocked on Origin 90 minutes ago. Random thoughts

- Flawless performance on my 290x during the gameplay parts. Settings on Ultra. FPS seems to be locked at 30fps during the real time cutscenes though - which some might find Jarring.

-Sound effects are very solid. It has been awhile since I fired up BF4, but I'm finding myself more impressed with the sound design in Hardline so far

-Graphics are very average. A clear step down from BF4 in this area.

-Still undecided about Stealth being a focal point in a Battlefield game. I wouldn't mind it if the arrest system is abit more fleshed out. I've only seen one single takedown animation

Really looking forward to this, although I hear the story is bad. How bad, are we talking BF4 bad?

Anyone enjoying the multiplayer? I really enjoyed the beta.

Of course -- that's more than enough time for EA to get their $ from the suckers who buy between midnight and mid-afternoon on release day.

So salty. What are you going to do when it gets review scores in the mid-80's, tell us EA bought all the reviews but were too cheap to buy higher scores?

Really surprised people care about the single player in a BF game. Multiplayer is all I care about and early impressions seam really positive. I'm so excited to tryout Heist mode.

Huh, Battlefield 4 scored mostly in the lower 80's. I don't see this one doing that much better.

My Best Buy PS4 preorder shipped an hour ago, hopefully it arrives tomorrow on launch day. I'm just going to play for 1-2 weeks and then trade it in, since it comes with a $10 preorder bonus should be basically a free rental.

I enjoyed the beta though, could see rebuying down the road once all the DLCs are out and its ultra discounted for PC on black friday.

Where are people in the UK ordering from? I'm finding it at around £44 on PS4, hoping I'd find it £4 cheaper than that.

I played the beta, seen extensive footage of multiplayer, I know what I'm getting. Reviews will be worthless to me and everyone who's here for the multiplayer.

I honestly think I'll skip the SP this time if there are no weapon unlocks tied to it.

Bad Company 1 and 2. Loved them so much. Only played the Campaign.

Yeah, this isn't Bad Company.

I thought the story in that first Bad Company was great.

I loved the Dirty Dozen/Kelly's Heroes concept. I wish more games would embrace that kind of levity in some of these types of games.
