Here's my question: why are they afraid of conservative boycott and no liberal boycott?
How do I make Disney afraid of me too.
We can't afford to go to Disney World?

Breaking with precedent is always more controversial than sticking with it.
I mean, there's no shortage of heinous dudes in the Hall of Presidents.
On the plus side, they could halfass the shit out of it and no one would notice. They're still waiting to get a coherent sentence they can use

I imagine the hand size is also a controversial point.
He's become a public figure, I think at that point you lose your right to your likeness without legal consent, no?Not entirely true, I don't think they can just use his likeness and make him talk without his legal consent. I get your point though. Just more stupid arrogance from their camp.

I'll bet Disney suits are regretting the day they came up with this attraction right about now. Incredible how something as simple as this Trump manages to needlessly overcomplicate.
I'd go to see the reactions from the people. Last time I went, people cheered for Lincoln, JFK, Reagan, Roosevelt and Obama and booed Nixon during the role call. I'd love to see what happens with Trump.
Maybe the imagineers can get the other presidents to beat the shit out of Trumpbot.
Only thing liberals boycott are elections

Here in Holland we have De Efteling, a fairytale-themed amusement park where you can get rid of your trash by stuffing it into the mouth of a fat character named Holle Bolle Gijs. Afterwards, he thanks you for it.
Just a suggestion.
Bush Jr is a war criminal and he's both in the Hall of Presidents and alive. But they're all dead, and we are not so lucky in 2017.
If conservatives boycott Disney, I'm booking a trip immediately.
They should just replace his robot with a tombstone that had the word America on it.
I have a solution. Burn the attraction down, spend years rebuilding it. Done.
Solution: Trump bot comes up for his big speech, proceeds to pull phone out of pocket and tap on the screen for a minute.
then trump bot sits back down
I've a feeling it won't match the spirit of what they were going for if he ever gets around to doing it.
At some point you just have to say 'This has been closed too long, we're going to put Lincoln in and if something changes we will change it to allow the sitting president to speak.'

He should say he doesn't like poor people
That would spark a boycott. The general public doesn't have any context, and the headline would be "Hall of Presidents reopens a year later without Trump." Fox News pundits would slam it as unpatriotic and blatantly partisan. A Disney-wide boycott by the hard right would be imminent. Not just Disney Parks, either. ABC, ESPN, Marvel, and Star Wars could get sucked in. The counterpoint that Trump's team had been difficult to work with would be lost in the fray and labeled fake news eventually.
This is exactly why Disney is being so delicate with the situation.
