Best gaming mouse available?

The best are:

Logitech G5 Gaming-Grade Laser Mouse

and

Razer Copperhead 2000dpi High Precision Gaming Mouse

Lots of crazy features on both. Both are the same spec so choose what you prefer.

Logitech also have a wireless option.

I have the Microsoft Desktop Elite Wireless set and love them.
They run off of AAs for an absurdly long time. Seriously. 2 AAs in the mouse and it lasts for 6 months. I don't have to charge the sucker every night. It just works, and a window pops up when it's time to replace it.
Optical, tilt wheel, two side buttons.
PLUS the scroll wheel is click-less. It takes a bit to get used to, but when you do, you appreciate it.
And the keyboard has a scroll wheel on it, too.

Plus the wrist rest on the keyboard is a nice soft pleather.

lol! You're kidding right?! I'm using that exact same POS only because it was the only one I could find lying around. I hate this thing. It has no wait and feels flimsy.

I want a tank.

We are moving to the wireless era ... so why not consider Logitech G7 Laser Cordless Mouse?

Well I haven't used the G7 :P

Also G7 only has one thumb button, MX1000 has 3 :D G7 doesn't have rubberized sides either which I prefer.
