Babylon 5 did a really good job on their theme songs. Each season had its own theme, that represented the overall tone of that season. Helps that each of the 5 songs were really good.

Speaking of Fresh Prince, did anyone know that Will Smith was playing a high school student when he was actually in his 20s? He graduated from HS in 86. WEIRD!!

like, Hmm this might be alright! I whistled for a cab and when
it came near the Licensplate said "Fresh" and had a dice in the
mirror If anything I could say that this cab was rare But I
thought now forget it, yo home to Bel-Air I pulled up to a
house about seven or eight And I yelled to the cabby "Yo, home
smell you later" Looked at my kingdom I was finally there To
settle my throne as the prince of Bel-Air

Heh, that's par for the course in movies and TV shows...makes it easier to shoot smoking or sex scenes I guess. :lol

Shinobi mentioned one of my favorites: the Tesh NBA on NBC theme.

By far my favorite, though, is the HBO Boxing theme. That gets my adrenaline pumping every time.

Honorable mention goes to ECW's old syndicated program using Thunder Kiss '65 for the show intro.

Yeah, I forgot the HBO boxing theme...really cool. Also forgot to mention the Flintstones, which makes me ashamed.

Big O! Only because it's a total ripoff of Flash Gordon's theme.

Transformers.

Pokemon, the original theme. Yeah, I know, but coming home from highschool, anything would make me happier.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Even if I just hear the song, I see the moon from the very beginning.

Spider-Man. Both the 90's one and the "Does whatever a spider can" one.

COWBOY BEBOP! Damn, there's no other theme out there that just screams and tells you that this show's going to be an experience that is outside from the ordinary.

Dragon Ball Z. More highschool memories.
