Pushsquare primarily focuses on PS news. Although it is weird that they left Xbox out of this.I'm not sure why pushsquare only references the PS5 version. The original tweet shows both versions. Will have mods update title
Wait, there was no physical edition yet?
EDIT:

EDIT2: Removing the pushsquare article and just posting the tweet.
Push □ ( the name of the site kinda explains why it only shows PlayStation lol)
Chances are pretty slim for that I think. But let's see. I also wonder if they will have whatever the latest patch version is included or is it's going to be pretty out of date.If it's all on disc I will happily double dip
Glad i held off. Not falling for this shit ever again after the Tomb Raider remaster.
Need patch 2 on consoles.....when is it coming? I know steam got it last week
Got the Collector's Edition in 2006. Few years later sold it at Gamestop for $3. It is what it is.
Oh i know, but this was like 2008-2009, i was a clueless pleb.At $3, should have just kept it for the CE packaging ..
Begrudgingly so I'm sure. If it's not full on disc, there is no point to this release. Especially if they don't have the most recent update included, I heard the initial release was nearly unplayable.
Yeah this, but unfortunately its almost a guarantee it wont be complete on disc.If it's "on disc" with a mandatory download they can keep it.
Place it all on disc with the latest patches please and thank you.
Good point. They probably won't bother shipping the game on multiple discs, so it's going to be the same deal as with Indiana Jones and Doom TDA. Meh. I was a bit excited when I first read the OP.The game is massive, it's like 120 GB. If Indiana Jones at 80 some odd gigabytes isn't on disc, this won't be either. Won't be worth buying.
There is more benefit to a physical key than the data being on the disc. Being account agnostic still makes it far better than digital. This allows it to be resold, easily loaned, or if your account is banned to be reused on a fresh account without lien or levy. The game is massive, it's like 120 GB. You are 100% correct and I agree with you. These days I tend to forget that not all games require you to be online, yes in the future if the servers are down, you're never playing that physical copy again, but you're not playing that digital copy either unless if it's already on your console and not locked for some reason. It's just that these days so many games require an online connection to even boot the game up when it's completely single player. There is more benefit to a physical key than the data being on the disc.
