Beyoncé reignited her career by dropping one of the best albums in the past decade and using a release strategy that permanently disrupted the music industry. The Super Bowl can only be credited as a commercial for her tour at the time but insignificantly to anything else.

Caca has already failed on every term that made Self-Titled the pop culture and industry juggernaut that it was.

The only album that could be considered "gay" is Born This Way and it's very pandering, which is one of the reasons I don't like that album.

It's not even about straight people, it's people who like good, catchy pop music, before she went to pandering the gays and wearing meat dresses.

I kind of think that her fall from grace has less to do with the pandering to the LGBTQ+ comm and more to the fact that once the mainstream sit down in the wait between BtW and Artpop and started to remove all the layers, all the overproduction, her outlandish costumes, etc... they discovered that she was just another run of the mill poptart no different than Britney Spears or Katy Perry only with a slight social conscious message in some of her songs.

Her fans did try the most to try to elevate her from that though, like when they tried to push the narrative that she was INSTRUMENTAL in the decision to revoke Don't Ask, Don't Tell instead of just another voice in a sea of voices asking for that to go away.

Not gonna lie, even as a Gaga stan I was sick and tired of her trying to change the world during the BTW era, and BTW itself being "just ok" didn't help. Just give me good music FFS.

Solange's new album just got released (not even two weeks yet). And she will never be as relevant as Beyonce, due to a number of reasons. However her album is very good, but her voice is really soft, which made it kind of hard to listen too.
