Just to reiterate to everyone what is going to happen. Trump is going to meet with Bill Gates. Gates is going to give him a spheel about saving the planet or something along those lines. Trump is going to nod approvingly and seem interested and even open minded to Bill's points. Bill leaves and seems happy Trump listened. Trump continues to not give a shit and says whatever needs to be said to whoever he's in the room with to make them happy. Bull shit mountain continues to grow.

Agreed.

I understand people have to try but Trump is only in it for his ego and headlines. I would rather people just ignore him completely.

I mean you'd hope Trump would've realized that.

"Think about it. You can lead the innovation to greener energy. "Trump Windmills". You could make billions. You'll be known as a savior of the future, and you will get reelected with no doubt."
That's one way to kill the conversation. Trump irrationally hates windmills.

Let me guess: Bill Gates wants a Trump administration to allow unlimited amounts of H1B visas. That would be a disaster for middle class tech jobs.

Awww would you like a coloring book, maybe it will help you feel better.

I'm assuming you are fairly young. I'm only responding in case there's an actual human interested in thinking about this hiding behind that account. If you're only doing this to troll, pat yourself in the back. You got someone's attention. Well done.

If that's not all you're interested in, consider this. You, and many people talking like this online, are treating this as a joke. As your team winning a match. A chance to wave your team's flag and point & laugh at the losing party.

This is how people like Trump want you to think. And, yes, politicians on the left, like Clinton, play into this too. It's divide and conquer - simple, and, as proven by this election, effective.

Read up on Trump. Unless you're one of the economic 1% in the US right now, the Trump presidency will not help you. It is much, much more likely to harm you. I'm not a Democrat trying to put a Republican in his place, I'm just a guy, like you. Trump doesn't care about improving the situation for poor and middle incomes. His staff picks reflect that.

I'm not going to write an entire essay on this because I know chances are high that you're just acting this way for the reaction. It's middle school playground taunts. It doesn't impress anyone, it doesn't make you seem like the winner (except, perhaps, to others with a similar mindset - good job on getting their approval, as much good as that will do you), and it definitely doesn't make your subset of Trump supporters look good.

Remember that you're acting this way in defense of a man who doesn't care in any way about you. Think about how you're spending your time, and how you actually want the rest of your life to proceed, in terms of job opportunities, national safety, economic stability. You don't even have to think about the big picture, just how you see your own life developing from here. Then think about what politicians could and should do to help you reach that. Then take an honest, independent look at who Trump is, how he's acting and what kind of effect that will have. There are a lot of truly independent sources out there. If you're sure of your own right, it could never hurt you to see it from the other side. Being more informed can never be a bad thing.

Then think again about what you're doing when you talk to people that way. The internet isn't full of magical fictional people. There is always someone on the other side of that screen.

Again, I doubt you're reading this. In that case: you successfully trolled someone. Your grandchildren will be very proud one day. But I told myself I would give one of you a chance by opening up once.

I sincerely hope you'll reply to me.

I think it's way over his head man.

Maybe Trump is doing the one good thing he will ever do with his power, demand Gates come in and explain what the fuck Windows ME was all about? Unstable mess.

To which Gates would probably say, Balmer, Windows 8.

Dont ever remember so many stories of a previous president meeting celebs.

Like did all these people personally go see obama as well ? I guess they realise the world is about to fall into chaos and need to try and get there ideas across.

Or perhaps obama just wasnt so superficial and did it behind closed doors and didnt try to pander to every rapper or celebrity in town ?

Trump wants respect. Everyone's gotta kiss the ring.

Doesn't Microsoft outsource Surface tablets and Xbox Live Support to China?

I wonder if Trump called him in to yell at him?

Gates doesn't really have anything to do with Microsoft anymore other than being a shareholder, hell hes not even chairman anymore, so he doesn't really have a big say in the direction of the company or what it does. So that would be kind of pointless for Trump to bring up.

im dumb

this reflexive cliche is wrong. please stop with this. people cannot be focused on more than one thing. this is a distraction and it is working.

see: reality, social media, the election, the secretary of state nom, grabbing women by the pussy, paul manafort, i'm halfway through this sentence and fuck i've already forgotten, business conflicts,

Just because you're incapable of multitasking doesn't mean the rest of us are deficient in it.

Unfortunately, if Gates wants to make anything happen with his new climate change initiative he has to speak to the most powerful person
-dickhead
in the world. Of course assuming that is a talking point.
I wouldn't be surprised if this is what he is seeing him about. Bill Gates is awesome and has done so much good let's hope he can maybe talk some sense into him.

That's... almost exactly it. He's an excellent salesman - show your client that you are listening. Sometimes that's all it takes to make them happy.

And then go on doing what you're doing.

I believe an excerpt of this is in Napolean Hill's "Think and Grow Rich".
