There's a loading bar at the bottom of it. Guessing it's downloading even more stuff. I thought the same thing too till I saw it.
Mine got half way and quit "Failed to init security". Gah! Im away most the weekend so this is my prime playing time.
Just had the same thing happen to me. Blah! Frustrating.
The server region settings are in the settings cog in the main login screen.
Just happened again now abour 1/3rd of the way through. :/
Scratch that. Still got an error. Another INIT Fail. I wonder if it's network-based or if it's something on the client-side that's interfering with it.

I never get past the xigncode bullshit.
How did you get passed the XIGNCODE3 program loading? Seems to be failing for everyone, myself included.
Tried that, didn't work.
Tried that and just fails faster.

Finally got it to load up. Had to disable Windows Firewall one time for the anti-cheat program to fully run. Re-enabled and it loaded up a lot faster, with a new BDO image instead of the dude with the magnifying glass.
Got a 'Failed to Connect' error when I tried to start game though, and BDO closed automatically after.

I made it in game but now it fails to connect to a server. Instead of letting me retry it just closes the entire client :/

Wo, that intro song was awesome. It had me hooked until my game crashed because my account failed verification. Oh well, I'll try tomorrow.

Got into the NA servers. Orwen I go! Started in the EU ones, but then reconnected then the NA ones showed up

Looks good so far, can't go on highest without seeing an FPS drop but slightly high settings work fine with me.

How come first names have to be unique by themselves? Kind of annoying that I can't just the first name I want now that I have created a last name... If I delete all characters can I choose a last name again?
Hmm I didn't even see Orwen on the list. I wonder if I am on EU some how? I saw the PEGI logo when booting.

I saw the Pegi logo as well, but my Server selection had Orwen and some other server. Do you have the correct region selected in the launcher? You can choose North America or Europe in there.

I just quit, restarted, and the launcher said NA already without me doing anything. But now I see Orwen in the list, and it asked me to choose a family name again, so I must've somehow been on the Europe one.
Yeah I think that's probably what happened. Are you logged in to Orwen yet? Wouldn't mind a leveling buddy :O
On that note, is anyone else on Orwen? I'm currently messing about with the Cash Shop. They're giving players free 'money' to use to spend on the cash shop for testing purposes. Pretty cool stuff in there. Don't see anything too gamebreaking or overpowered yet. Mostly aesthetic stuff so far.

I clicked both links while I was in-game, refreshed my currency also in-game, and it showed up in seconds.

Does anyone know how to disable the UI advice on the center-right of the screen? It's constantly in my face, telling me what all the hotkeys do. I can figure out how to hide it during combat, but not 100% of the time...
EDIT: Found an option to disable it through the "Edit UI" option on the grid options menu (from the escape key), not in the standard graphics and game options menu where I had been looking.

The texture pop in and shadow pop in is so low, are there no options to change these things? The options seem really bare bones unless I missed something.
I didn't see a way to toggle shadow distances, shadow details, AA types, etc.
There was just a texture detail, then SSAO and a few other options like depth of field, etc.
