I guess this is common knowledge, but posting anyway.

Run the game in fullscreen windowed mode. It seems that running the game with fullscreen, the game forces the refresh rate way lower than it should be (50hz on my 144hz monitor). When that happens, you're stuck with the FPS equivalent (50fps at 50hz, 30fps at 30hz etc). I gained a nice FPS boost by running with fullscreen windowed at least.

Also, disable other players lanterns under video options as well, to remove that yellow haze when you're around players.

Yeah, do quests, obtain more knowledge, etc. Things like that. You'll get them.

You can level off Fishing, apparently. It provides a small but noticeable XP boost at my low level. Nowhere near as fast as killing monsters, but it's a nice bonus if you're AFKing.

Playing in regular fullscreen at first also left my HDTV(PC) at 23 HZ even after quitting the game...I noticed my mouse was acting weirdly and my whole desktop was strange,went into NVidia paned and it was set to 23 hz,put it back to 60.

Can anyone make a young'ish looking wizard that doesn't look like a creepy old guy?

Don't know why they make all the male characters so weird (IE you got to pick a warrior if you want a "normal/good" looking character and the other two classes are restricted to super-old looking guys or creepy mongoloid looking guys.

Meanwhile the female characters get all decent looking character choices, none of them are restricted to having super weird/old looking character looks.

Enemies have a very short leash range in this game. It's disappointing and unsatisfactory given the nature of the combat. I actually just died to a bear because it leashed, regained all it's HP near death, and one shotted me when I followed it. :\

Yooo this is super fun. The combat feels super good, and the world has this lo-fi fantasy vibe that reminds me of Dragon's Dogma. It's not flashy, but feels very immersive.

Depends on the crop, and also you can just find some area that's not oft-treaded and plant just fine.
