I played the beta for one of the foreign versions, can't remember which.. Didn't get too far because I couldn't understand it of course but I enjoyed my time with it. Hoping this turns out the same.

Start from the first town node. You need to invest there first before connecting nodes.
Do I need to invest it a certain amount? I've invested 10 energy a couple times and the bar has gone up a little, but thats about it
You basically keep going until it maxes out. It's a long term thing.

If you're talking about raids and dungeons, there aren't any at launch. There will be some later however.
THAT BEING SAID, this game isn't about PVE (or even PVP). It's about living in a world and being able to craft, gather, fish, quest, and other things.

It's obnoxious. All the NA servers are near full, and my framerate goes from 40 to 10 due to all the players. x_X
Deeeeeeeefinitely encourages exploration. There's a lot out there in the wild to take on yourself, and you can summon bosses that are tough for you to take down yourself.

So I was checking the launch options in the client while downloading, but for some reason it only allows me to select my Intel HD Graphics chip. Now, I can probably force the game to use my Nvidia card, but has anyone already playing the game encountered any issues regarding this?
From what I've heard, the world is pretty damn big. You won't blow through it in a day and according to some, it's even quite easy to get lost in. All travel is done either on foot or on horseback and while most items and stuff are bind on account, the means of storing them are bound to physical locations. That is to say, you can access items stored in Bank A with other characters you have but they either have to physically be at Bank A or pay a fee to have items transferred to Bank B.
So really, exploration is very much encouraged at the base level of design. Not sure about zoning/loading, but the player housing and stuff like farming is instanced, I'm sure the dungeons/raids will be instanced too.

It's pretty big. I've yet to explore all of the starting areas even after six hours of gameplay. And no loading between areas from what I can tell.
The world I think is 20 km x 20 km? I think? Larger?
Basically we have four zones at launch, one to be added soon after, then a desert.
The game has ZERO loading at all. NOTHING in the game is instanced (except for a PVP arena thing). You can walk from one side of the world to the other (I wouldn't recommend it, it takes four real world hours to do so).

World is huge and there is no loading screens between zones. It's a seamless open world, this ain't your FFXIV MMO

I think the game is forcing me to play on EU servers even though I have North America selected in the launcher. Is their a way to change that somewhere else I'm not seeing?

You can try claiming one with a cell phone, I had to in order to get it to go through. Been jumping through hoops all over the place to try and get a key, guess I'll give this a go tomorrow and see how I like it.

Also there is up to T5 horses in the wild.

So far the best i have is a T7 with Drift, Sprint, and Instant acceleration.
Leveling another T6 female i have to try to breed for a T8

I wouldn't double down on the $50 pack JUST for the beta-access, but if you're sold on the game anyway... Go for it!

Hmm, I went back and read the more about the game, and it seems like the PVP is open world. So I can just randomly attack any player I see in the world??? Or does it work differently??? I read the reason you dont wanna do that but it seems interesting. Im not a PVP guy myself, so not sure if that something I want to be bothered with, having players gank me and shit.
