So, I recall a few months ago a ton of hype over two Korean MMO localizations - This, and Blade and Soul - But I heard one of them was really crappy/P2W and pervy.
Judging by the contents of this thread I can assume that this is the good one and BnS is the crap/perv one? Had a friend offering me his 7 day trial code so I just wanted to check before I take it.

I haven't tried this one yet, but I really didn't like BnS. The combat was okay/good for an MMO, but I didn't like too much of everything else. Seemed like what you described. Take that with a grain of salt considering I haven't tried this yet since I want to wait for a code to make sure I can justify paying $50!
BnS's outfits seemed really revealing from the few hours I played, yeah. Combat seemed good though.
Pervy? Sure. Crappy? No. Blade and Soul is fun as hell. =) I hope this game is equally as fun for me. Sounds awesome.
I just don't know what class to pick. T-T

I saw someone asking on guild chat where to find a Lead ore node, I needed one too and this helped me find one. Just zoom in and click on a node to see information about it.

Hopefully we'll all get guest passes soon. They dont activate until the game officially launches, so im guessing the actual codes dont appear in people's accounts until then.

Yeah, the nodes are the same though.
Yeah, I was around there earlier. That's where I've been getting my lead ore from, the swamp node next to it.

Fishing makes money really easily. Since launch I've been afk fishing when I'm not playing. My witch is an apprentice fisher level 1 and between my Velia and Heidel warehouses I think I'm sitting on 1.5million. Top tip. You'll get ancient crystals sometimes when you fish. You use them to make boss scrolls. I've been selling them on the marketplace for 150k each. I sold four last night.

Market is still in flux on the US servers for sure, they'll go up in price once people realize what they are and quit selling them at 150k.

So I took the plunge and bought it. I'm a little cautious, since I haven't played an MMO for a few years after playing and failing to really fall in love with far too many since the old magic of SWG/Vanilla FFXI etc. I hate all this cash shop BS these days, but this looks like it could be fun and I hope this more sandbox style is a pleasant throwback!

That all looked like stuff we should have. It didn't show any unreleased stuff as far as I know.
But doesn't it have the Desert? Don't we only have a forest biome map currently?

Really wanted in on this but the lack of armor diversity in game and visual changes to your character is killing my will to get the game, anyone wanna chime in?

I'm stuck between playing Valkyrie and Tamer, but since it is apparently important to have alts in this game I guess it doesn't really matter.
Follow the black spirit quests at first. He guides you between the quest hubs for a while. Once you get to Velia you get all the life skills tutorials.

That trailer definitely contains lots of stuff we wont have on launch. A bit cheeky really. Hopefully it does not take them too long to release the 2 content patches that unlock the other 2 areas in NA/EU though. Here is a link to the full current Korean map:

At launch, we get the blue, green and red nodes (on the left side). The yellow and orange areas are the next 2 content patches (over to the right side) which we dont have yet.
EDIT - also, the snowy and other regions further south are expected eventually unlock as well in future content patches, but no official word on that yet.
