I can only agree that Black Desert is a great game and I think many, many more pople need to be exposed to it. This is not a game I play anything but casually as playing the game for the grinding is impossible. But the game..
The game does many things different, and even MMO veterans will really, truly need to sit down and learn things. It's refreshing. It truly is a different type of experience compared to anything.
The game is not difficult, the game is very much a solo experience, but it's also majestic in exploration and it boosts an incredible combat system.
The story is meaningless, the translations are horrible, and the pop in is absolutely annoying. It's a never ending game without resolution. So you play for the experience. You're not enticed with a story, or reaching max level or gearing for pvp or dungeons.
Gear and level progression is never ending so you might as well not stress on it at all. There is not an accurate meta.
Instead you go out and kill and explore, and build your empire. The game is relaxing, and it is fun and if you can get over the idea of a game being wrapped around a sort of end game, you'll like this game a lot I think.
It is not like Revelations or Blade and Soul or Aion or TERA or even ArcheAge, but it is one of the most unique gaming experiences you can have.
Entry level is buying the game (its rather affordable) and spending the money in the cash shop for some pets (works as the game auto-loot) and a outfit for your main character. Wait with buying these until you've seddled on if you want to really play long term and what your main will be. It is worth spending the money on an outfit.
