This movie sucked... and you know it takes alot for me to say that about any movie.... way too much comedy "Some of the one-liners were good though", and a plot that was just all f'n over the place. First Drake doesn't give a shit about what the vamps that woke him up want.... then he participates willingly and we get no explanation as to why?
And then it seems like the mythos Goyer built up keeps getting tossed to the side.
Ok in the first movie he has a vampire consul with the head of the vampire families meeting regularly. Ok that's cool... and while Frost kills them all off, I never considered them to be all of the heads from all over the world anyway(table too small), so maybe there were just continental US. Fine.
Second movie that's barely mentioned and instead we're introduced to an ancient vampire lord, head of another family... seemingly WAY older than any of the US families(which potentially makes sense). But why do the US families work together, and this Euro one does not... nor does it even REFERENCE what happened except for a throw away line by a lackey?
Third movie.... no consul, no vampire lord, just a vampire chick heading up a supposedly large organization... sure was hard to TELL it was a large organization besides their office building and the one stockhouse warehouse.
Just disaf'npointing all around. What a shitty way to end the series... time to pretend that movie never existed.
