I should play more Blazblue. I'm trying to follow along with the last page [6] of the thread and I have no idea what's going on with these characters. :lol

I know what you mean. After playing CS a little and watching tournament vids, I'm not gonna play Jin anymore. He's not as fun. I'm gonna play Hakumen and Tager, at least to begin with.

Jin looks so WTF now. His combos make NO sense. It's almost funny in a way.

Yeah is it 2b or 2c? The wing thing is nice.
As a Ragna player I just feel like I can outpoke her fairly easy and the guys I were playing used their charge on dp to escape my pressure or the fullscreen charge thing, again they weren't terrific players... I get randomed out much easier by nearly any other character though.

Ragna is pretty awesome yes. Do whatever the hell you want all day.

It's 2C. Best AA in the game. But yeah... Ragna=WAY better Tsubaki without charges. Similar move sets with more damage and priority.

But for what I understand you will be able to retry battles in Story mode! No more "GAME OVER SCREEN -> LOAD SCREEN -> SKIP 100 text lines" moments anymore!! :D

So I'm interested in getting a fighting stick to try and play this game. I don't play many fighters but can't imagine it works to well with a controller. The problem is there really expensive! That tournament one on amazon is $200! Do I really need a tournament one or can I go with the basic SF4 Stick that is like $50? What are the real differences?

The basic SF4 SE stick is fine for this game.
If you wish to swap out the parts for Sanwa thus having parity with the TE sticks, then it's easy to do so.

The only reason those BBCS sticks are $200 just because they're limited collector's items. Heck, it's pretty easy to buy an SF4 TE and customize it to look exactly the same as the BBCS one :lol

I know this may have been talked about thousands of times. What is the proper way to sat the game's name? "Blaze Blue" as Ragna clearly says in game? Blahaz Blue? I think I've even heard Bla Blue with the z silent?

It's Blaze Blue. Japanese for some reason can't say "blaze" so they say "burei." Japanese language is so restricted.

Thank you. I knew I was right when I heard Ragna going through the voice system. I think watching streams of BB games threw me off over the year.

Just the got the game for 360 and installed it.

-All the regular menu options are in English, but a lot of the sub-options are in Japanese. If you can't read or speak Japanese, I'm not sure if I'd recommending importing this for anyone tempted to get it early.

-The game had a patch that added in the XBL Marketplace option as far as I can tell. I need to load up my J-account profile and see what's available. If Mu unlocked is there for 200 points, I will probably buy her. Don't feel like going through story mode for that.

-The load times seem a little longer than Calamity Trigger. Just a second or two longer; maybe it's just me and I'm used to playing it on my PSP, but it seemed noticeably longer.

-Did some online matches; played people from Japan and it was buttery smooth once the match began, just like in the last game.

-You can choose to play arcade mode or training mode and use a match interrupt feature for people to challenge you, like in (S)SF4. Nice that you can do this in training!

&#12502;&#12524;&#12452;&#12502;&#12523;&#12540;&#12288;/ Burei Buruu (Pronounced like "Blei Blue") is how it's written in Japanese (without a Z sound), but for English purposes, I think "Blaze Blue" is the most accurate.

Tried joining a player match room. I don't know if it's because I joined with the match in progress, but the match I'm watching is lagging like crazy. It will speed way up for a few seconds and then slow down again.

Hazama's yellow-orange color scheme = Dick Tracy


EDIT: I got kicked. :lol I may have to stay out of rooms until the U.S. version is out, although that room had a connection rating of 0. Others have 3 and 4 but are locked.

According to Dustloop, on the disc it looks like there are empty folders for three chars: Makoto, Trinity, and Valkenheim.

Hopefully not $8 for each one.
