Wow I cannot wait to play this on Saturday.
Miyazaki is probably a top 3 director in the industry today.
Who, in your opinion, are the other two?
Edit: Previous page has all the answers.

Think you missed this one:
FUCK waiting till Friday in the UK, i went through the mild rigmarole of creating a US PSN account, getting a PSN credit code off Amazon, and downloading from there.
20 quid cheaper and i'll play it in a few hours. Hurrah for no region locking!
When you are that high 2 points can mean the difference between a beautiful game to a shit game.
Such a contrast. Too hard could translate as not good enough though. It is useful they have two reviews in this instance, they should at least average them.
- Does the distinct lack of loot mean Bloodborne lacks customization? Hard to say.
What's the difference between a 93 and a 95 game
You mean a AAA game on the PS4 lived up to the hype?
I'm floored.
I'll translate the two opening paragraphs for those who are curious:
Not much about the actual game, but lets you know where he's coming from.
I don't have a spell checker so sorry for that

So glad these games caught on and grew long legs.

If we were to use grades 90-92: A-, 93-96: A, 97+: A+. So just degree of excellence I guess. Kinda how in college a 90 is an A but not a good A.

Sony own the IP i think, but sony also owns the Demon's Souls IP and that didnt stop that from makes a deal with a third party to release dark souls multiplat and now most of people thinks that the "genre" starts with dark souls lol.
Demon's also. You can't forget Demon's.![]()
I was hoping for 95 ..

If we grade on the curve for this year, it's in the A+ range.
And what do those two points mean? Two points.
Does the Gametrailers video review have any major spoilers? They often times do.
to be fair the second opinion is just a paragraph, not a full review.
there are plenty of PS4 games that have done surprisingly well critically.
Well, dammit.
I got about 4 hours into Demon's Souls before deciding it wasn't for me.
I got to Blight Town in Dark Souls, and couldn't take the horrendous framerate and stupid poison dart-spamming enemies.
Now I'm seriously considering buying Bloodborne. What the hell is wrong with me?
There is also the opposite issue of having fans be the ones reviewing something. Or even worse if the publisher requests specific reviewers. There is nothing wrong with being suspicious about clickbait reviews.
Or wondering why they assigned someone who doesn't like a particular genre to review it.
It happens a lot, get over it.
Financial Post (huh): 9/10.
Sounds like you're caught up in the hype. I've never played a souls game but it sounds like they're not for everyone.
Two points.
2?
*smirk*
This little bullet point from Klepek's Kotaku "impressions" has me worried:
I've been on complete media blackout from the game (except for this one impression).... and searched through the whole thread for an answer (didn't find one): Is there any loot in the game? Are we not going to be able to play FashionBorne just like FashionSouls? Am I not going to freak out when I can't get a Black Knight Halbred to drop off the first one?!?!
Druckmann/Straley have not earned their 'GOAT' stripes yet. Yes, TLOU is wonderful but I think we should see how UC4 turns out before we carve their names on stone.
