i dont suppose there are more non-spoilery impressions that can be pulled from this
thanks in advance regardless, i refuse to buckle and click those tags!
Just more info on the same boss, he's still stuck on it. A bit more info on Chalices and other misc. stuff that I won't mention.
He plans to put in some more Vit/End points to tank up a bit, he doesn't like doing this as he prefers to play learning to dodge all the moves and improve his skill rather than be a sponge.
Everything else I would think is a spoiler!
7) Lastly some people messaged me saying that my vitality is low. This is true, and it was a conscious decision. When i started playing Dark souls I was terrible, and so I would pump vitality and just defend. Which made me a really bad player because I relied too much on tanking hits. After beating the game the first time, i watched a playthrough done by Seraphim17 on youtube. He's one of my favourite youtubers who does hardcore walkthroughs of really difficult games on their hardest setting with many self imposed restrictions. One of the things said during his commentated walkthrough still resonates with me till now with every game I play. he mentioned that If you just keep relying on out tanking all the damage, you will never improve. You should be focusing on trying to learn the mechanics of the game, the bosses themselves, and trying to get better each time you play, and use your death to become a more knowledgeable and better player.
I will say that for the entire game, i never felt that health was an issue because every enemy I faced can be either parried or dodged/dashed away from until now,Also i also wanted to see what each weapon does, so I had to pump my arcane, skill, and strength to be able to use weapons and give info on them for you guys. I was using almost base endurance as well.because of one shot attacks from this boss and its minions.
So I will be pumping them up to aroundvitality and25endurance to see if it can help20
Edit: Added part of his post, and just tagged potential spoilers so you can read w/o fear.
