Really? Ah that's pretty cool. I've never preloaded so I thought it was like a disc where you have to start the game to initialize the download for the patch.
My favorite thing is how fluid and threatening the boss AI is.
The bosses behave congruent to their haunting and powerful design, attacking with vicious frquency and unrelenting aggressiveness. This appears to be well balanced with your character's increased mobility and the incentive to retaliate.
Simply going off what I've seen, I think they have found the perfect balance between something like Onimusha and Resident Evil. Incredible action that is restrained by layers of fear and a horrific and frightful atmosphere. I know the encounters will be difficult, but every second looks so damn satisfying.
Welp, the hype got to me.
Doing that 360 trade in deal at GameStop today toward a ps4.
Pre ordered the game at Amazon.
Thanks, Gaf. Lol
It's Ok, 3Go are not a big deal.
Thanks for the quick reply!
Oh, any info about the size of the game?

Probably, the faces looked thin and weird in one of the character creator videos, one of the only things that's a step back from Dark Souls 2 it seems, the faces and hair in 2 actually looked quite decent. Well, Well. I managed to create some good-looking characters in the first Dark Souls, so it's not a big deal., in Demon's Souls it was futile however
I'm planning to play online, a lot. not because "it's easier lolcasuls" but because these games are much better with such a great and fun online system, when it works that is.Question to the fellow hunters. Are you planning to go solo or summon other hunters ? I think I'll go solo but if I die too many times in one particular area, then I might seek some help.
why wouldn't it be, their character editor has never been good. creating monsters is the best part-
is this real ?
No it didn't. You had a quite a poor selection. Bloodborne has a lot more to choose from.

she's ok though.
Studying to become a teacher!School? Are you a teacher or something, Yoshi?
It would be funny to see a sleepless teacher trying to teach lmao
That was the case originally. Turns out, these four particular days (Teu-Fri) is impossible for me to be absent.Yoshi, can't you just go to a doctor and call in sick ?
HOW DARE YOU?! I got this from using the random button a few days ago!, Well. I managed to create some good-looking characters in the first Dark Souls, so it's not a big deal., in Demon's Souls it was futile however
It was pretty good in Dark Souls II, imo. Even in Dark Souls you could make a decent looking character, but it took a lot of work. Dark II you could easily make pretty girls <3
Fashion Souls was really strong in Dark II, and Fashionborne seems to be incredible s2
One of my favorite Dark Souls II faces, from my second character:
HOW DARE YOU?! I got this from using the random button a few days ago!

That's exquisite, good job! Indian maybe.
No, like, I'm needed in a very big project. There's zero % chance that I'll be able to sleep/be inactive during it ._.Yoshi, if you don't have a ps vita, buy one and play in class.
My eyes are everywhere! EVERYWHERE, I TELL YOU!Sorry Yoshichan! I hoped you wouldn't notice!
HahahaHoly shit, random beats me 10-0 in Demon's, apparently.
Yeah I've done this for a couple of games and it doesn't really affect my enjoyment of the game! I hope it doesn't, at least! Can you even pay attention and appreciate Bloodborne staying awake for that long? I assume you'll just start functioning on auto pilot after a couple of days.
Disagree, poor selection and different strokes for different folks notwithstanding, of what I have seen the faces are a step back from Dark Souls 2. To me at least. Though, I say it again, it certainly isn't a big deal. At all.

But seriously, I'll just be awake for 3-4 days and go from school to Bloodborne non-stop. I'll be a complete utter mess but it's the only option I have.
Unless I decide to physically hurt myself severaly and show my professor the proof. God damn it, why am I even considering this option...
My eyes are everywhere! EVERYWHERE, I TELL YOU!
Hahaha
Is there classy Victorian dresses for female characters?![]()
Some guy on reddit wrote a nice post highlighting what he hates about Bloodborne. It's spoilery only in terms of the game mechanics.
(Yes I realize as you get further in the game you start to accumulate souls at an exponential rate and you can just buy vials, but that still sucks. Who the hell wants to dump all their souls in to buying vials? Especially at friggin 360 a piece. They should be like 100.)

Disclaimer: Yes I'm playing it right now and yeah I love the game.
That being said...
J-E-S-U-S do I H-A-T-E the new Health Potion system over the old Flask system. This is the worst possible method of implementing a healing system. I PRAY, ABSOLUTELY PRAY TO GOD the release day patch helps this issue, and either a) makes the vials drop more frequently and/or b) makes them cheaper to buy.
Basically, never before in a Souls game has my forward progress been completely stopped in it's tracks by the fact I'm... well... "out" of healing pots. Making boss attempts and using 5-15 an attempt? Better hope you have tons! Run out of pots on your last boss attempt? Back to grinding mobs you don't give a shit about!
The worst part is, some zones have an overabundance of vial drops and some have almost none at all. This means you actually have to completely leave some zones altogether and go back to other zones just to farm vials so you can progress on the zones you actually want to be in. Believe me, this is not how I enjoy playing the game.
Everything else is great. I love so many new features of Bloodborne and I'm having a blast. But this is one of a few "features" that, in any other circumstance, would actually probably make me hate and quit the game.
Pray my friends. Pray the release day patch helps this.

Runner up features you guys won't like and should accept as reality now to get over the rage early before the game releases:
You have to teleport back to home base and then teleport back to the zone (two loading screens at 15-20 seconds each) to respawn enemies. Simply "resting" at the lamppost (bonfire) does not reset enemies at all. This may not seem like a big deal at first, until you take the aforementioned notion of farming for things we take for granted like health vials on garbo enemies. Something you don't even want to be doing, with full minutes of load screens added in to the equation!
Entire game mechanic systems such as Runes require finding an item ingame before you can actually equip them. I had half a dozen or more runes (the ring equivalent) sitting in my inventory for hours and hours, until I managed to find the stupid item that let me actually use the work bench and thus equip them. Really lame. Unlock the work bench when you find your first rune instead IMO, this is a really frustrating feature.
There are a lot of things they simply do not explain nearly enough. I'm toughing it out and using pre-established Souls logic to make sense of some of the features, but players new to the game mechanics are going to have a FIELD DAY with this game when it hits next week. Ohhh lordy lord. Especially with the manual being delayed... good luck guys!
The good news is those are literally the only complaints I've had! Everything else is amazing, the game is top notch and you'll love it. Which is a good thing because otherwise holy shit you'd hate it.
I really hope some of that can be fixed.

If he us relying that much onmaybe hes just not that good at the game....just saying.health potions
I was just about to say. Health vials are infrequent because you're supposed to regain health with quick follow-up strikes.Shouldn't the new mechanic of regaining health with an immediate counter-attack offset the fact that health vials might be more sparse in this game?
Hey guys, anyone remember this picture I took of my livingroom aka Bloodborne-room a few days ago?
Well, 5-6 days has gone by and all I can say is UPGRADE MOTHERFUCKING COMPLETE!
I specifically remember someone calling me out on animal cruelty. I hope I have redeemed myself.
My body is more ready than ever for HUNTING. EDIT: The media table for the TV is on its way. Don't worry, I'm not gonna treat my neck that way :lol
