So regarding the day/night mechanic, someone posted this on GameFAQs:

NEW NPC in the Day/Night cycle is confirm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The first area at night = Nobody respond to door now ( sleep or gone )

Then a new NPC after the 2nd boss appear. A crying ( deadlooking ) girl. She cry went talk to her!

After a night area turned to day, the streamer went back and found a new NPC. We know there are new enemies when the time of day changes too. Wonder what else...
 
Just got a veeeeery interesting item..

Beast Blood Pellet:
Giant medicinal pellet that grants short-lived beasthood.

Wonder if that actually does it.

Who's the third boss everyone has been fighting? I found
Vicar Amelia
but was pretty much one shot so clearly I'm not meant to be there. I've done crazy amounts of exploring but not sure where exactly I should be going to progress.

Where do I find that? I've explored a lot of
Old Yarnham
and also the cathedral area where that boss I mentioned is.

And fuck I need to find new weapons. Just upgraded cleaver to +3 because the only other thing I have is the Kirkhammer and I don't like it.

I have no idea.
The area it's in leads to a dead end cathedral area. Should be in Old/Central Yarnham though
 
Thanks for the help guys, that makes sense now. Thought it couldn't be a glitch but I could not figure out what was going on.
 
Quick question that might anger some Souls veterans. Is there a certain class or build that is overpowered? Similar to the Royal in Demon Souls or Pyromancer in Dark Souls? I like these games but getting my ass handed to me repeatedly can get tiring. Just looking for an early advantage.

Alright so another question for you pro hunters.

Whats the timing window on the gun to stagger? I cannot for the life of me do it against anything other than a basic enemy.

Also lol someone asked if bb is good or bad without breaking embargo to metro and they said

We really can’t say anything ahead of the embargo. But we don’t think Sony are going to sue us if we reveal that it is definitely not ‘bad’.

I wonder what would sony do if they break embargo but say really positive things about the game.

You don't. The game has an autosave feature. If you do anything of note (collect souls, die, use an item, etc) the game will save. It will also save when you quit the game.


You can not save manually. Not part of the game "philosophy".
 
Guys has anyone heard any other music apart from the cleric beast one or the Gascoigne one? I really liked both the boss themes and was wondering how the other themes are holding up.

I've heard like 12 or so at this point cause I'm weak. They're all pretty great.
 
I hope BB is more exciting then what I've seen in these streams...

Everyone is just running around the same areas repeatedly looking for something to click on.
