That's Blood Starved Beast, right? After that I've beaten Vicar A, the Witches and the Palebeast. Now I'm not sure where to go next. There's supposed to be a Woods section I think.

Palebeast do you mean Darkbeast Paarl or is there another boss named Palebeast? Where's it at? And the woods you get to by going to the left in the plaza that leads to Vicar Amelia. Need the password from the npc.

guys, if you're like me and won't watch anything other than the early game first couple of bosses, watch the stream in the quote. this guy is a total newcomer to souls, he's been playing almost 2 hours and hasn't even gotten TO a boss much less beaten one. We don't exactly know. There are weapons with gun elements for the right hand. bullets are quite limited but there seems to be a way to convert health in to extra bullets.

At the base in the hut at with the old man there is a desk for upgrading and repairing weapons.

I haven't been watching any of the streams, but I recently read in the preview thread that this game has chromatic aberration during the day. How harsh is the effect? Because in Lords of the Fallen it was one of the ugliest post-processing effects I have ever seen. It was almost like looking at game or old 3d movie (cyan/red) without the glasses on. You could shut it off in that game, but you also lost some beneficial effects (but it was more than worth the loss).

Ah that's what I thought! I think that way just leads to a dead end as far as I could tell.

You get the password from the NPC who's on the way to that door. He doesn't straight up tell you it but talking to him gives it to you and when you go the door you'll have a new option.

Loads are like 10-12 seconds from death to respawn.
