Word of warning I've not just had the greatest experience with spotflux. Downloaded it in prep for tonight and it worked fine to connect to US servers to unlock.
However disabling it to surf internet normally with UK ISP wouldn't connect at all apparently it's a known issue for Spotflux at the moment. Even uninstalling didn't work.
Had to do a system restore to get my normal internet connection back....
any other recommendations for VPN?
why the hell this game uses DX9, and not 11?
So it unlocks at 12am est? I am in Alberta so if so I can play tonight!

This is grand news. I hate when companies release games in PST because they are "based" there. What about the millions of people who aren't!Yes.
So as many people can play it as possible.
I'm running an i5 3570k and an EVGA 570HD, what are the odds of me running PhysX in high?
Just (frustratingly) took the bullet and bought this.
One question.
Has it been confirmed whether or not there is PC Split-screen support and if not then have they commented on possible inclusion in the future?

I'd never use it, but it is pretty dumb that they never include split screen in PC games. I have a friend who already pre-ordered on Steam that intends to play it split screen with his cousin. I didn't have the heart to tell him he's fucked. He'll find out soon.
If it's anything like Borderlands 1, there will be a way to do split-screen for PC. If you have multiple monitors you could even have a 1 screen for each player. Played through a good bit of Borderlands 1 on PC that way.
Everything was already done engine-wise with BL1 3 years ago. They wanted to concentrate more on content than trying to create a DX10/11 graphical masterpiece.
Wait wait wait.....Borderlands 2 does NOT support DirectX 11????? Can anyone else confirm this?

It is a DX9 game
Hmmm, Crossing fingers for it to run well on the laptop.
Not getting my hopes up for Physx or anything, just buttersmooth experience with decent graphical level at 1360 x 768.
Well, my i7 740qm and my Geforce 445m (still doing ok in most games, as good as a 635m, so I'm all fine for the resolution).
The thing ran Sleeping Dogs and Darksiders II just fine, so I'm not too scared but still, I feel that I'm getting on the low-end of the currently sustainable gaming rig.
Still got an old desktop with a 460 GTX and a E8400, but that's not waaaayyy better and I scarcely get to us it.
how would it run on my Laptop, it's got an i5, 4GB ram and an HD5870m
I'm really hoping my card can maintain 60 fps while supersampling from 2560 x 1600. I'm hoping to use a mix of forced MSAA and supersampling so I can avoid using FXAA.
Getting 60fps with everything maxed (no fxaa, can't stand the blur) on a 670. Fov moved to 100 for my tv, was getting motion sickness on the default setting (90).
Only thing is I can clearly see texture loading. Is this common with UT3 games?
Yes ;<Running incredibly good on my setup (120+ FPS) with everything max. To be expected though.

There is a LAN setting under network options on the main menu. Can someone please tell me if the PC version offers offline co-op over LAN connection?
The Destructoid review says it's not possible.
They couldn't possibly have released this game with both no splitscreen AND no LAN gameplay, could they?
Maxed it out with a 660 ti (PhysX on high), 1920 x 1080 @ 60 FPS capped and stable.
