holy shit.... so is that better that he fell out? ie is it more possible that he fell out at a lower/safer height?

so did he fall out at a high altitude? or fall out shortly after it took off? is the second possibility even a possibility?
Neogaf members are supposed to answer this right now?

So what are the chances the parents sent the balloon up and then told the cops their kid was in there as a prank or for attention/money?

Doesn't look like the kid was in there, I hope the kid fell out at ground level before the balloon took off.

How could they NOT see him fall out if they were following it?

I dotn think they followed it 100% of the time. So he may have fallen out just a minute or two after it took off.

all this just for wifeswap ratings :(
I'd be inclined to agree with you- but only after I know 100000% sure that the kid is safe; I'd feel reaaaaly crappy if I cried hoax and then it turns out the kid got seriously hurt

That balloon looks way to small to life a small child. You guys saw mythbusters episode on that right? It takes a lot more helium that thing thing had..

Time to send a bunch of helicopters back along the route...?

Otherwise, hopefully the kid got scared as it was taking off and ran away/hid. Hopefully.

It seems there's no door into the cabin, or else they would have had the thing open already. How could a kid get into the thing without a door?
yeah i saw no door..and theres no way a grown human could fit in that small area.
