stop it! your making me want to listen to the E3 2006 podcast again. I already heard that once like three times. The best part is when Adam Sessler walks by and they all pretty much grab him and make him talk about his most looked forward to games. Also, Luke Smith game of E3 2006 was Lost Planet which is just surreal when you consider how he acted towards the game when it came out.

Because they're alienating the hardcore by sacrificing their journalistic integrity. If you want tainted, PR controlled coverage and "opinions", well you're in luck because Gamespot is turning into Maxim.

yeah, 1upyours is still top notch quality wise, but I personally think it isnt as consistant because there isnt a stable crew like there was in 2006. Bryan's last podcast 2 weeks ago was awesome, I actually listented to that one twice and both times I laughed out loud when Shawn made fun of Shane for liking Opoona because he felt sorry for the game.

Totally agree. It sucks they keep getting disrupted. You could tell that things were going to come together nicely when Shawn was feeling comfortable enough to make fun of Shane's opoona pity party and to get really involved in the news stuff.

Yeah, if they get a good fourth chair and Shawn doesnt leave to work anywhere else for a while, I think it will be great again. Even when Mark was a member, John wasnt there all the time so it rarely had the whole crew together. Personally I would be ecstatic if either Simon Cox or Andrew Fitch are able to do the fourth chair, both of them are entertaining to listen to and when it comes to Fitch, he talks about games im interested in that arent that popular, so that would make me happy.

Wrong. The only problem is that that was pretty much the only time they were able to hold a consistent cast without someone leaving. I fully think Skip and Garnett can make a team just as good, if not better than Shane, Luke, Garnett, and John; they just need to get someone on there who's charismatic and has good chemistry on the show (and isn't going to leave after a couple months, fucking the whole thing up again :|).
