I get banning 'pay 2 win' games but loot boxes should be fine.
For over a century people have been buying packs of sports cards and later trading cards based on TV and movies, then later, gaming cards like YuGiOh, Pokemon, and MTG. Those are essentially all loot boxes. Paying to get a random pack of cards. It's no different.

Nothing about this law exposes pedophiles. In fact, the same politicians voted against laws that would increase punishment for sexual abuse. The government also refuses to make a national list of sexual predators.

When I was a kid, you'd find a magazine in a bush down the park or in late teens, a VHS might get briefly handed down. Now kids of any age (unless their parents are properly on the ball) can access any type of porn and so much of it is damaging.
If you really are in favour of children watching porn then there's not much worth saying to you.

i never said the law exposes pedophiles, i said that i thinks its sus to ppl be mad when someone with influence comes out exposing pedophiles, this is a serious topic and everyone ( left or right wing ) should come together to protect the best interest of children.
i dont know if you live in Brazil, but here we usually yell our social security number ( CPF ) to strangers everyday, multiple times a day at the streets, super markets and other places, you already uses your SSN ( CPF ) in basically every site ( Steam included ) on the internet in order to make a purchase over here, whats the problem of using you ID ( RG ) to verify your age ? how this ll affect you negatively ?

teenagers watching porn back in the they was harder than it is today , back in the days you would need to show some ID to be able to buy/rent +18 magazines/movies even nowadays you ll need to show an ID in some places in order to buy it, why the internet should have ZERO protection againt predactory behavior ? and why ppl are against such protection ll super weird to me, why an adult would be againt laws to protect kids and teenagers ? its kind sus to me.

This law will be everywhere eventually - they are not banning lootboxes/pay to win - just saying that if you have them, the game should be rated PEGI 18.
That's fair enough in my book, because lootboxes are gambling. There is absolutely no reason to have them in sports/RPG games, they are just ripping off the players who are weak minded (and children).
Battlefront 2 was ridiculous for this - I think you had to do a certain tedious act thousands of times to unlock a character or pay £20. EA thought that was the future of their revenue and argued that it is no different to Kinder Eggs. I guess it is - if you had to open 100 Kinder Eggs to find one that didn't just have a ball of shit inside.

Because I doubt those games wants to be banned, nor slapped with a "Mature" rating, since that would shrink its player base size quite significantly, considering many kids were playing it on mobile.

I think it has something to do with the current political climate in Brazil.

C'mon dude,i know that other ppl has already denounced, but as always things only start moving when shit really hits the fan, its a good thing that Felca made that vídeo and everyone that uses It as polítical plataform are missing the point of the video and imo are stupid, the same goes for the Roblox situation, everyone that is using that situation as polítical plataform is stupid, we ALL should stand together to protect children safety.
NOW, Felcas vídeo is just the "scape goat" that bad politicians needed to push bad polítics, its has been a while since Brazil internet is sufering with censorship from our Judicial system.
So lets not blame Felca's vídeo for this situation, i dont care If he is left or right wing, the message of his video is clear and i ll say again, in my opinion, anyone who tries to minimize his message about children grooming has some real problems and should be investigated.
