I was watching this video of Portuguese people in São Paulo and died when I saw this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3HCg5sBYwwc#t=32m37s

They are seeping into the mainstream.

In Brazil meme's are basically pop culture. I've seen people wearing shirts of them in public on several occasions, as well as the fact that a lot of the images shared from friends on my facebook seem to be the meme face comics and stuff. Oh but what tops it all is that there was a guy with like a sticker of them on his car but it was like a huge one that covered the entirety of the part of the car that sits just about the front wheel. It was only one side but I found it really weird when I saw it.

Double post because this deserves :

"I love to spend trough hurricanos with my love! it is so romantic that today I will open a bottle of wine"

So this idiot saw that was a good idea to do a photoshoot and play with a disaster

So what happens ?

Well I went as Leon since it got chilly enough at night for me to dress as him. Some people recognized me, that was fun! Best costume there was easily this one girl dressed as Dante (not DmC one but the good old one). Damn she really hit it out of the park, she also showed a bit of underboob. She was accompanied by a guy wearing a Deadpool costume with a suit on, looked pretty good too. Aside those two there was somebody dressed as Quailman! Man that was awesome! He came in second in the costume contest and lost to Elvis, which I feel was totally the wrong call. Quailman fo lyf yo. Next time there is a costume party I'll go as Marcelinho or do something ahead of time to plan my costume hahaha.

Fro those outisde Brazil, ENEM is a some kind of test that every student in high school must do and it helps you to get to an university.

As any serious test it is forbiden to have a cellphone with you.

So one of the biggest magazines on the country (unfortunatly) does this :

"Share ENEM pics on Instagram : #VejaOnEnem The best ones will appear on our site"

Wich of course lead to

"ENEM : In the second day of tests, students are still sharing pictures made on the test room online"

With a link to a news about how wrong is to .... go to the test with a cellphone

When I made the ENEM test almost 5 years ago the essay part was useles in the overall help ENEM gave on universities ....

Also the "cota" debate is ridiculous ...it is pure first world problems to complain against it

I didn't have to take the ENEM to get into uni? Also my friends showed me some pictures that were shared of the students. Apparently all the idiots who did got their tests invalidated. Didn't know Veja put them up to it and did an asshole thing like that though.

Congratulations to everyone whose soccer team is going to celebrate 10 years of it's first relegation with another relegation.

My brother-in-law is a fan of the team, so I'm sure he's happy. It was funny seeing my history professor celebrate about it on Facebook though haha.

Tava preparado desde 2002 pra isso.

Paulo Nobre could be the breath of fresh air Palmeiras needs

I'm only focusing on the Arena now, only positive thing happening for us

Yeah, the Arena is the only good thing now, but it could be worse. We've been champions this year, at least.

And Paulo Nobre is really the only hope. Let's see if he wins this time.

Someone know if is there an online store selling the wii u, even if they are just pre-orders? I searched a lot, and couldn't find even on mercado livre.

Looks like history (to me anyways) is being made as Britto is retired and Barbosa is soon going to be president. Is this a big deal over there? I mean I know that there were two Afro-Brazilians who were ministers long before Barbosa, but were they ever the president of their respective courts?

Brazil is the country of the "ready joke" ... so it is fair that we have here the biggest one of the last few years

ONIPE.jpg

Context for the non brazilian people :

In the 60's brazil was controled by a Military goverment that was close to a dictatorship. Torture, censorship and everything that you can expect from the worst dictatorship happened.
One of the main political parties that was involved was the ARENA (National Renewal Alliance Party) that was an insanely conservative and "patriotic" party that was the main responsable for the "coup d'état" to happen.

So this punk crazy 22 year old girl with a lip piercing suddenly said that she is going to try to remake the ARENA party because the country needs a more "patriotic and conservative party" and because how awesome was the country at that time.

This comic is what would happen to a punk crazy 22 year old girl with lip piercing meets the military goverment of that time =|

And for those who don't know, this party still exists and it's big. They changed the name for PDS, later for PFL and now they call themselves "Democratas". LOL

Seeing all those people freak out because of Obamacare is really strange coming from a country that has something like SUS

WE ARE A PRIVILEGED RACE ON STEAM !

It is the power of BOLETO !

But take care using it. Once you use BOLETO as the payment method to one of your orders, you'll only be able to do another order once the BOLETO status is "paid", which can take one or two days.

I agree that he should be fired, but the moment is so strange. He was having his best moments with the Brazilian Team over the last few months.

He got his results against terrible to mediocre teams whilst cancelling matches against decent adversaries. Did you watch the last two matches? Shit just wasn't working. And I'm glad they decided to kick him now, because it'd be too late if they waited until the Confederations Cup.

It doesnt count when the teams Brazil played were weak.

Yeah, I agree with you. What I mean is that there was a moment last year that the team was even worse and he wasn't fired. So why now?

I'm hearing that there's political reasons behind it.

Felipao gonna be back in action.

I want it. And then, I want to see the new Maracanazzo, now featuring Argentina, and I want to see Felipão crying at the end of the game.

All of this because he is the main responsible of Palmeiras' relegation.

lol no. Everyone has responsability for Palmeiras relegation managers, players, Felipao.

Its easy to dump all the blame on Felipao like it was to Dunga when the team lost to Netherlands.

Everyone have played its role in this big tragedy which was Palmeiras relegation, but Felipão was completely lost. He was choosing the wrong players, putting the wrong team to play, making the wrong subs, and showing no logic while choosing the players.

When he went away and the new coach was hired, Palmeiras started to play better (But still bad lol) and had the points ratio of a middle-table team.

But it's everything wrong here. Old and bad managers hiring bad players and paying high prices for them. I can't think of a bigger sports-related joke this year than Valdívia.
