Oh man, went to the BR association meeting yesterday, and that's like, the one good thing that's happened to me this week. Anyway, I think I might start taking capoeira lessons, since they do that here on campus.

Well I'm pissed. A few days ago people were giving out these pink bands for breast cancer awareness and stuff. So I take one and tie it with another I got from a friend. I put these around my wrist. I get some of my classmates going hey man I see you're supporting the cancer thing, looks kind of gay though.

What the fuck man. I can't believe there are people sem noção like that. It pisses me off.

Talking about a nation where some guys say they're 23 for two years to avoid being called gay at 24 here.

Them shirts with the pink swirls over the chest caught me off guard when I first saw 'em.

It's irritating man. I have an uncle who has cancer de bexiga and now my grandma was diagnosed with skin cancer. My mom had a small scare but thankfully it was nothing. It's not the same type I know, but shit like this it really angers me.

About the whole gay insecurity thing, I think it's getting better, despite chucklefucks like Silas Malafaia (more like Maracutaia amirite) getting way too much attention.

At my job at least there are openly gay guys and girls and at least one transgender person and they get absolutely no grief. If anything the gay guys will tease you if you wear garish pink shirts and things like that, all in good fun.

Tell me about it, I played tennis with a friend of mine yesterday and then he was sick all day since he was recovering from basically heatstroke. I was largely fine though hahaha.

But yeah it has been hot as fuck lately. Its incredible though that Ctba goes like hot > cold > cloudy > rain > snow. lmao Something like that. This city is just to much.

Well I have a racquet, but I really suck at playing it. Me and my friend want to start practicing it at least once a week so that we can become better.

Also yes, the weather in this city is insane. Jesus these last few days have just been weird.

Hey that's America! We choose candidates based on all kinds of stuff here. I don't think Gay Marriage is gonna not happen in my state, though, 'cuz a woman married a building recently, and I mean, c'mon, if you can do THAT, why not let two consenting adults do it?

That said, wasn't a clown elected to office back in like, 2010 in SP? I remember it was like Tiririca or something, and he said "O que faz um deputado estadual? Nem eu sei. Vote em mim e vou te dizer." Something like that.

All I really remember about the election era in Brazil was Oliveira's musiquinha in Goias. "70.700! e' o Oliveira!" Something like that. Freaking 6 in the morning they'd drive by and blast it.

I hated living on Avenues for this reason, but they were so much more conveniently located!

So there's a costume party I may go tomorrow and since two of my planned costumes fell through my friends keep telling me to go as either Marcelinho or a Sandy victim. How does BrazilGAF feel about this?

I don't have the body for the UFC thing lol, though if I did it would be a funny idea. I'll probably go as marcelinho since it's a pretty easy costume and I can tell a funny story that is related to the group of people I'm going with.
