I wanted .. but because I don't have a camera (not even a cellphone who takes crap pics) I was kinda using that as an excuse to dye my hair and cut it and ... but then vacation happened and I sleep the entire month and never did those things =x

Damn, this is just. Wow.

Also, shame on all of you for not participating in RPJan. Only Brazil was cool enough for it, but he has been doing it for like the entire time after it started last year.

Meh, I participated last year, it was right when I got my tag. I was wearing my Broncos jersey. :)

Here is something for Brazil Gaf to laugh !

A friend found some old crazy magazine talking about the first info on "the gamecube zelda"

YJ1nV.jpg

I hate hate HATE this magazine!
I was 10 years old, couldn't even read english but was given a japanese Breath of Fire 4 as a gift. After getting stuck in the orphanage, I bought this magazine for the walkthrough. They said it had 6 kids, so after a while I just gave up on the game. Later on I found a Playstation Magazine (spinoff of SuperGamePower, not the official one) that had a much better walkthrough and listed 7 kids in that part.
This pissed me off so much, I think I've never seen a walkthrough so horrible like this one. EVER.

Phew, sorry for the rant.

Edit: My God, it's JBC Editora. To think that they would later on publish some amazing mangas...

heh

to be honest the logo is not exactly the same as the n64 one, neither was it completely original and unique to begin with, letters in a cube are a common thing.

Well, at least it was Gugu, not Faustão. lol (still the worst picture that I've seen in years and I'll surely have nightmares with this)

I really wanted to have "tutu de feijão" or other "mineira" stuff .... but all I saw and heard people talking about Brazilian food outside is ... steakhouses =P

We don't choose our signature foods =P

Guys, I am planning on heading to the World Cup in 2014.

To help me budget, how much in reals do the following items cost approximately:

1 beer at a decent bar (Skol or antarctica)
1 caparinha at a decent bar
lunch/dinner at a restuarant
lunch/dinner off the street vendor
1 beer or caparinha at the beach (from one of those bars along copacabana)
beer/rum/cachaca bottles from supermarket to drink at hotel

I have been to Brasil four times in the last 10 years but havent been for about 3 years now so just keen to know some current prices.

cheers

We can tell you the most current price ever.

But .... the world cup price will be MUCH more expensive =P

...and it is caipirinha

edit :
very generic prices

1 beer at a decent bar (Skol or antarctica) - R$ 6
1 caparinha at a decent bar R$ 12
lunch/dinner at a restuarant R$ 15
lunch/dinner off the street vendor (average big hot dog) R$ 5
beer/rum/cachaca bottles from supermarket to drink at hotel R$ 2 / 15 / 7

Been at least 5 years that I don't go to the beach

desculpeme on caipirinha.

yes, please tell me the current price. I realise the prices will be inflated during the world cup but I will add some additional percentage to my daily budget when I work up current price budget.

I am thinking I will need about $100 AUD, which is a bit more than $200 Real, for daily spending money (not including accomodation, just meals and drinks).

Thanks mate.

I think I will be buying a lot of alcohol from supermarkets and drinking before heading out to party.

Full article :

Should be noted that "Death of Zelda : Tower of Spirits" is a pretty close description of Spirit Tracks plot ... buuuuuuuuuuut it then goes into HEAVY fanfic territory with Hell, Heaven, Sword of Souls and at leats 3 types of Ocarinas (Shadow's , Golden's and God's) and other crazy stuff like a combo sisem and link being able to crouch

and

To give some context, I remember that rumor being posted in the Zelda.com.br website, so it was just an internet rumor that seemed to be nice and people started to think of it as an fact, despite having several elements that conflicted with the theme of the series.

where's this magic place where you can get decent lunch for just 15?

Carnaval is starting and the price for a big can of beer, the latão, is at 4 reais for official street vendors. My guess for the world cup will be five (I'm hopelessly optimistic)

Beer at the beach in Copacabana is 5.50, a caipirinha around 12. It's the same price in bars mostly.

I posted that map in the nightclub fire thread.

The basic explanation is that there IS a city named São Paulo there

where's this magic place where you can get decent lunch for just 15?

Most place you can get a "marmita" (i have no idea the english name of this) you can get a full plate for 15.

But then again, I don't live near São Paulo or Rio ... so ...

It really depends on the city, some prices in São Paulo or Rio can be a lot more expensive than the prices on another city.

I'm waiting so I can buy it with 1 month of work and not 3 months =P

But if I had the money I would have gotten since day 1 ....or the day Miiverse went online
