Is there any nightclubs in MG, or is the nightlife limited to RJ an SP?

Pretty much every big city has lots of nightclubs here in Brazil. Some very good ones actually, even if a bit pricy they are worth it. I actually cant answer for people from MG because I dont live there, but I am pretty sure there are lots of them, at least in Belo Horizonte.

Making a note of it, then researching it, thanks!

There are. Hit the Savassi district at night and enjoy.

There are nightclubes everywhere in brazil !

...I didn't heard good things about the ones in the south .... =P

I don't see anything wrong with this, besides I guess the fact that it doesn't look like samba?

It is more like a those "white people" gifs .... applied to crazy people who come to brazil during carnaval and try to dance and fail epicaly

The idea is awesome .. but ... vergonha alheia you know ?

WOW !
NO ! NOT THAT WAY !
That not even crossed my head =O

I have friend who live in the south and they say every place plays basicaly the same stuff .... even the gay clubs play the same playlist
The "=P" was just because .. well ... nerd people told me bad things about a nightclub, how surprising

Hahahahahaha, that confusion.

The clubs in my city are alright, it just depends on your tastes really. We had a club that does this one event like every three months or so that plays only korean/japanese music. That was fun. I tend to prefer bars myself though, especially if it actually has a separate part where you can dance and stuff but still has a good place to just sit back and talk.

I am not sure about gay clubs, but overall I dont know what your friends are doing because I know of a lot of very good night clubs where I live. lol

What's up my Brazilian friends. I have a question about the WC for you guys. Which region do you think is going to be the best to watch some games (in stadiums/bars) and party. I was thinking of sticking with Rio, maybe go to Curitiba too. But I don't know how expensive it is to fly nationally in Brazil.

Also when are they going to start selling tickets for the WC?

Well, in my totally biased opinion I would recommend you to go to one of these: São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte (these 3 are in the southeast - really close to eachother) or Curitiba (my city :D, really close to São Paulo) and Porto Alegre (these 2 are in the south). Those are definitely the places to go if you want nice clubs/party, infrastructure etc... Also the WC openning and final will defintely be there.

The other cities are just as good as the ones I mentioned, but they are more focused on their natural beauties (beaches on the northeast, pantanal/amazônia on the north, etc...) imo.

If you have any other question just shoot me a PM with any questions you have. :)

It's a nice clash between São Paulo, Curitiba and Porto Alegre. I would choose São Paulo, the first game will be here and there are nice places to watch the other games.

Isn't São Paulo more business mined though?

Não vou lá para trabalhar ;)

I thought Rio would be the the best place to party and stuff.

I think it depends. I'm not really into the party stuff, but from the conversations I had with my friends from Rio that came to São Paulo, the parties, baladas in Rio are better, but for bar, pubs, this kind of things, São Paulo is better.

BrazilGAF, someone is trying to convince me that Cross Fire is extremely popular in Brazil and is the #1 computer game. I can't find any evidence to prove/disprove this claim. Is there any way this is true?

I have never heard of this, and most of my friends here are big computer game nerds.

Also Curitiba is the best, because reasons.

Brazilian people LOVE free online games, but that Cross Fire have a LONG way to beat Ragnarok Online, Counter Strike or even TF2

With the PS4 announcement and all those Gaikai and streaming games ..... I have a question!

Anyone here had any experience with On Live ?

I can't help but to think that our internet sucks for half of PS4's features

Yes, I used OnLive to try Darksiders and Splinter Cell Conviction a while ago. Runs better than I thought it would.

I used Onlive, but just the trial feature, it was better than I expected. Pretty much lag free, I live in São Paulo,SP with a 10mb connection.

It's pretty dumb since is not like Rousseff puts the price on consoles but it got a chuckle out of me anyway.

What is the maximum that you guys would pay for the PS4 here?

$1600 is my limit, but it looks like I will have to wait a long time for this one or travel to EUA to bring one.

Marta's picture should be there.

Unless it magically costs R$ 1.000 or something, I won't buy it here.

I would trade my kidney for a PS4 with inFAMOUS Second Son. Shit, how I love that series.
