Haha, nah, I agree. To an English speaking audience it sounds very Spanish, so eh. A non-issue for me.

Gus' Spanish is fairly decent. Sure, he has a thick accent, but it is not a terrible thing considering that he is probably not even an actual Chilean national in the show. The kingpin is obviously a native Spanish speaker, and so is Gus' partner. The problem is Tío (Héctor). I'm Spanish and I couldn't understand a single word without subs. He could speak Finnish for all I get, he sounds like he has some kind of speech impediment.

Edit: Tío is actually from Pennsylvania and doesn't seem to have any Hispanic heritage. Makes sense. He is probably reciting his lines as told. Other than that, he is a great actor.

Yeah last espiode was fantastic, i love the direction they're taking and its a nice change to see Gustavo being somehow vulnerable at least.

Gonna try to save my comments about the "who talks the worst fuckin spanish ever" on the flashback scene..

Its impossible for me to believe that Gustavo is from Chile, and Hector was even worse than him.. he just straight up said words that made no sense.

Gus's brother-in-law is a Federale. That's why Don didn't kill Gus, and how Gus was able to get the Federales to kill Juan Bolsa.

is gus gay? i figured the character might be prior to the flashback, but they seemed closer than 'brothers' at the meet. hector sorta hinted at it too. either way, great episode.

Got damn it man. I really wanna be on Gus' side just as much as I am on Walt's. But the only thing keeping me from that is Gus killing Mike's former partner. I knowwwww it really needed to be done for security reasons. But shit, man.

Don't worry, they'll just do a flashback where they retcon that Victor went behind Gus's back and killed Tomas.

Dude why did Mike's partner even go to check out that murder scene? I liked that guy because he seemed really obedient. ):

Maybe he admired Gale's innocence or just really.. like liked Gale. The twist in Breaking Bad will be everyone is gay.

I know there are technical limitations, but my god, you have a channel like AMC cranking out the hits and somehow they are just NOW getting the HD love?
