While on the topic, is Malcolm in the Middle any good? Considering checking it out for the Cranston, but how is it as a sitcom?

I'd say it's mixed. I enjoyed it when it first aired, but I saw a few reruns recently and I don't think it's aged very well.

Dude, I watched Star Wars for the first time in my life earlier this year and liked it as it was. I also played the original Half-Life very recently and liked it a million times better than I did Half-Life 2, so "Not aged well" means NOTHING to me. If it was enjoyable when it aired, I take it as a plus.

Yea, but you're talking about a classic game, and movie.

First couple seasons are pretty good, the last few are not.

It's funny how when I first started watching the show, I was like, "ah, that's the father from Malcolm in The Middle." But, then he became Walter fucking Heisenberg White. Dude was born to play this character, like James Gandolfini was born to play Tony Soprano.

Brilliant finale.

Pretty perfect really, I know everyone was going doctor mode and questioning the realism of zombie Gus but I chalk it down to the fact that the external damage, although completely grotesque could potentially allow him a few seconds of life. As far as I saw his skull was still intact.

Glad I wasn't in here to experience Amirox's bashing of everyone that tried to understand Walt but he's still a love-able character in my eyes. Nobody wants to see a show about Walt fucking himself and others over because he constantly makes morally (Walter) white decisions.

Not sure what comes now? Mike is still alive, as are Gus's other Cronies.

From the costume thread. I need to get some good makeup going to age my face.[/QUOTE]
I was thinking about doing Heisenberg too but when the idea came to me there wasn't enough time to grow out my goatee properly.

i was sitting in my hotel room last night after drinking a bit and about to go to sleep and just before turning the TV off the commercial was about fiber one or something. i don't know why i thought of it, but it suddenly dawned on me that tio salamanca (dude in the wheel chair) might have been the landlord in ace ventura pet detective when he hassles jim carrey about all the pet food he has and when he asks whats it for he says fiber.

so i just lucked it up and sure as fuck it was him!

I could MAYBE accept it if he had come running out of the room screaming with half a face. He has a GWAAAAAAAAAARGHHHHHHHHH??? reaction as he realizes what's going on, the room explodes, and he walks out the room like he had just woken up.

It looked to me that he was moving as the bomb was about to set off, but was just a bit too late.

I didn't have much of a problem with the tie straightening. That was just his character - even before throwing up deadly poison in Salud, he was still so particular in how he folded his jacket and how he placed the towel on the ground to kneel on. It's not like he would've been experiencing actual pain at the moment right before his death, as the adrenaline would've been too high.

Just finished the final 8 episodes marathon. Said "fuck MNF" cause I just couldn't stop. What an epic series. Top 3 for sure.

I finished watching season 4 and I almost broke my TV until
the camera turned and Gus face was blown off.

Lots of places to go in season 5.

Gus history. Who the hell was he in Chile? When cartel killed his friend, they even say something along the lines "this isn't you because we know who you are". I have this crazy idea that somehow Gus is the offspring of some Nazi dude or something. They keep mention how the company that owns his stores is a German multinational company.

Explosion investigation. Time to bring in the ATF.

Investigation in Gus' death. Look into the processing plant. The laundry.

Gale's murder. Still some loose ends there.

Ted's death.

I don't recall Tio doing his crazy mouth movements when we first saw him in season 2. He seemed almost comatose, a far cry from the expressive person he ended up becoming. I guess it just became his character's "thing" after his second or third performance, even though it kinda contradicted his first appearance.

Hector didn't give a shit when he knew Tuco was in control. It's when he knows shit it up and he can't do anything his mouth reflexes start to dance.

Again, thank you Urban for this. Does anyone here see any reason why I shouldn't use this avatar? I mean.....if anything it would throw people off when they see the finale. They would maybe believe that he was a robot after all. lol

Honestly, I don't think the visual itself is a problem, but people are going to inevitably bring it up and discuss it in other threads which will probably lead to spoilers. :/

Unfortunately for Walking Dead, it was never that good of a show to begin with. It kept me watching for the first season, but it's not comparable to a show like Breaking Bad if you're looking at actual quality. WD is just slightly better than something like True Blood.

Walking Dead was my favorite show last year. This year I find it difficult to get through an episode. Breaking Bad has spoiled us. The Wire by far is the best show ever on television, but Breaking Bad is just more entertaining.

Well, he wasn't comatose, he was acting so as not to alert Jesse and Walt to his mental capacity. He was actually much more animated in season 2, because he managed to use his arm to sweep a whole plate of poisoned food off a table so Tuco wouldn't eat it.

Agreed. The picture by itself isn't that bad, but it's a guarantee that someone will say THAT'S A SPOILER which pretty much turns it into one.

How about a Photoshop of Gus peeking behind a door, half of his face hidden?
