Yeah, it would be a shame if they weren't to tie up every loose thread. It would really run counter to the amazing tapestry of a story they've woven thus far.

The new season is being filmed, and this picture just leaked:

His hair is less grey, so I'm thinking this is a flashback scene and that he might be dead. Other people are saying that he blackmails Skyler and this is a shot from a new business he starts up with the blackmail money.

Unfortunately for Walking Dead, it was never that good of a show to begin with. It kept me watching for the first season, but it's not comparable to a show like Breaking Bad if you're looking at actual quality. WD is just slightly better than something like True Blood.

I finished watching season's 1-4 in a matter of days, and what a fucking roller coaster. JESUS CHRISSSSSSSSSSSST!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWD. Season 4 was a psychological thriller I must say, which was perfect. The chess moves between Walter and Gus were brilliant. I love the evolution of Skyler's character, the relentlessness of Hank, Gus' henchmen, and just the pacing of the show is excellent. I must say that this the first season where Jesse was actually tolerable, and more sympathetic as a character. The stakes were so high that Walter, by any means necessary had to make these cold and calculating decisions in order for him, and his family to survive. Breaking Bad is on my top 5 shows list now. GOOD LORD!!!!

Fair enough. It won't be an easy last season to write. I suppose one of the pros of them splitting it up into two mini-seasons is that it will give the writers plenty of time to think things over.

I still think The Sopranos and The Wire are better overall, but that would still be a top 5 for me too. If Boardwalk Empire keeps doing what they've been doing, I'd have to put them above Breaking Bad too, but BB is a fucking fantastic show. An instant classic.

I love Boardwalk but it's not even coming close to BB so far.

I don't know, I guess Boardwalk feels more rich to me. BB feels more like an action flick in comparison (not that that's bad). I can totally understand why someone would like BB better though. Just personal opinion.

I haven't watched Season 4 but I'm almost done Season 3 due to Netflix and I have a question about something minor.

I'm on episode 8 and the show never brings up that the twins murdered a cop. Does the show just ignore the numerous murders they committed?

I know what your saying. Boardwalk is rich. The show is like a painting. BB just shocks and pulls me in the way no other show does. It all comes down to personal opinion though. I'm glad that we are at least arguing two great shows.

haha no doubt. I have to admit that I was way more excited for each new Breaking Bad than I ever have been for a new Boardwalk.

It was on an Indian reservation. I'm sure the one other dude is investigating it

BB's the best show I've seen since the Wire. Definitely the best original drama series currently airing. Can't believe I went so long without watching it, although I have to say sometimes the best way to watch a show is marathoning through a few seasons. It's like reading a really good novel.

Well Skyler never explained to Walt the reason she gave the money to Beneke. He only found out right before he totally snapped. And I'm just left with the feeling that his death, while plausible, has still not been resolved. He dies all of a sudden after having just paid the IRS a huge sum of money which essentially appeared out of thin air? Perhaps the IRS wouldn't follow up but surely the police would take some interest in that. I just hope there's some kind of follow through, because it feels like a dangling thread to me.
