And before someone brings it up, jokingly or seriously, when she "fucked Ted" she was separated from Walt and was refusing him access to her home. She had every right to fuck whoever she wants because she was actively seeking to dissolve the marriage.

Sure she did, but the reason she did it (as ambiguous it might be) was "bitchy".

Walt protects Jesse as much as Jesse protects Walt. In an essence, Jesse is like a son to Walt, and you will see that "father making his son perfect, so he will be strict with him" scenarios show up.

Walt is at times very selfish about Jesse and will ruin his life if it means keeping him perfect, like the death of all the people revolving Jesse's life.
I understand how you get that impression but it's not even caring anymore. He's gradually destroying Jesse's life for his own interest. No father would do that. As Walt tells Gus, Jesse is perfect for him because he follows orders and he can trust him.

Hmm, I dunno about that. I just watched the episode last night and don't recall her saying anything about the car wash in the champagne discussion. I'll watch the scene again tonight but I'm pretty sure not.

Then again, even if she did say that it still doesn't really make sense. They shouldn't be wanting anyone to know about the illegal gambling money besides Marie either.

I'm not a Skylar hater like some, bit I also don't think she's nearly as smart or in control as she thinks (and some viewers think).

Well, it's not like she's used to doing these illegal things. But I can assure you, she's displayed a level of organization and preparation that far exceeds what Walt is capable of in this criminal area. Remember, Walt's ignorant and naive approach to selling drugs nearly got himself and Jessie killed.

Well, in Walt's defense, he has gone pretty loco by the end especially with that maniac laugh that he has adopted now.

Fuck me, scary Walt is scary.

The point of the gambling cover story is that it's supposed to be known to people. I seem to remember Saul mentioning at one point that he had a few casino owners who were willing to fabricate the paperwork necessary to legitimize the initial amount of money that Walt had.

I think that is the best one I've seen.

The only things working against it are the quotes, and that it's only covering 1/4 of this amazing show. The only thing that makes me accept that the show will soon be over is the incredible videos that will be made thereafter, covering the entire saga!

The Walking Dead’s sophomore season continues on Feb. 12, paired with Kevin Smith’s six-part docu series Comic Book Men. As for AMC’s other returning series, Breaking Bad will be back in the third quarter and Season 3 of Walking Dead will launch in the fourth quarter, along with Season 2 of Hell On Wheels.

:D

I'm all caught up. Is season 5 going to be the last season? I always seem to get into shows just as they're about to end.

Also, one of my favorite moments of the show right here that happened in season 3 I think. I don't know if it's a highly talked about moment in breaking bad history but it made me laugh so much.

Season 5 is indeed the last season, unless they're splitting into 2 seasons of 8 episodes each.

Also that's not from season 3 bro. That's s2e9 "4 Days Out"

Nothing beats this scene: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b4Bu8rjGLXo

Sometimes breaking bad makes me laugh more than actual comedy shows.

I started watching this show a few weeks ago and just finished watching the final episode of season 4, Face Off. Face off indeed, holy shit that was awesome.

It's likely that there will be part 1 of S5 and part 2 of S5, but it's all considered to be the same season.

It's annoying, but makes sense for AMC. Continued presence of one of their two good shows, no need for contract renegotiations as it's all technically part of one season, more opportunities for awards, etc.

Marathoned the last 4 episodes tonight. Man, that final shot was so unnecessary and really cheapened it a lot IMO. Otherwise an incredible episode after another incredible season. God only knows where this is going next season.

I agree, but audiences can be pretty dense at times. My mom for example... I find myself explaining certain things in this show that I thought were pretty damn obvious. Ah well.

I love the episode where they introduce Gus. His conversation with Walt at the Pollos Hermanos is great.

I also found that whole scene to be amazing. It's just so unexpected.

Yep. I love how Gus says he can't trust a drug addict, and then later in the episode, Walt needs to collect all the crystal meth at Jesse's place and he's high as fuck. :lol

Just finished watching Season 4. I liked it. One thing I am growing tired of however is Walt and Jesse doing nothing but screaming at each other and fighting. That said, I honestly have no idea where they are going to go next season. There's a bunch of different directions they could take but all of them involve "likeable" characters fighting it out for dominance. I'm actually cringing at the thought of some of the endings the series could have. It should be crazy. When does Season 5 start?

Show needs to end with Walt and family on a plane to Bora Bora with a couple million in cash. The last shot of the series can be sunset.jpg

This is also how No Country For Old Men should have ended.

- AMC Video - Sneak Peek of Bryan Cranston's Appearance on The Mortified Sessions
AMC's sister network, Sundance Channel, has announced that Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston will appear on an episode of their original series, The Mortified Sessions.

The Mortified Sessions features celebrities and other notable guests sharing anecdotes from their youth and talking through "mortifying" artifacts from their childhood such as awkward photos, diary entries, embarrassing drawings, and more, providing unique and revealing insights into how each person became who they are today. During his illuminating episode, Bryan Cranston reveals to host David Nadelberg that as a kid he actually dreamed of being a police officer, but as an adult has ended up becoming famous for playing someone on the other side of the law.

Cranston's episode of The Mortified Sessions premieres Mon., Jan. 30 at 8PM | 7C on Sundance Channel.

I'm not cringing because I don't think those ending scenarios won't be interesting, entertaining or amazing. I'm cringing because they all pit "likeable" characters against one another and if this is the final season, there's only so many ways these conflicts can be resolved and they all spell bad news for certain characters.

Reading back on the pages in this thread when the finale aired. Fucking funny. I never knew the ending was spoiled with the Gus picture weeks before. No one here believed it was real. :lol

Glad I got into this show now and will be around GAF when the series finale goes down.

Anyone happen to remember the name of the song that plays during the stop motion sequence the first time Jesse and Mike are out driving together? The majority of the song is in Spanish.
