Yeah, normally to save on marketing money: "Breaking Bad returns to AMC this July, get the DVD of Season 4 now", etc.

I don't see how people didn't like the fly episode, it was very well made television.
Up next for me is either Dexter, Mad Men, Walking Dead, or The Wire. Decisions, decisions...
I need something awesome to watch while I wait for BB.
They were in a movie together that just screened at Sundance. What was he doing with MEW?

well, it's not extremely well known because like cornballer said it just premiered at sundance. Which is where small films premiere and then maybe get picked up to be actually shown to people. but anybody who's been following sundance has heard of it; some great reviews that especially praise MEW. Offerman/Mullally are in it too.Sounds good. It's a pity it's not well known yet, I bet he gives a great performance.
Although we hardly need it at this point, confirmation that season 5 will air 8 episodes in 2012 and 8 episodes in 2013

I did a double take when I saw that bit. I assume they mean early 2013, which probably means the back end of S5 airs Summer 2013(?)LA Times said:The last batch of episodes will probably shoot in winter 2013, she said.

I thought she looked good.I don't know how they managed to make MEW so ugly in the Scott Pilgrim film. She's really good looking normally.
That's what it looks like to me, too. We're more or less getting two shortened season on consecutive Summers, but it's being labeled as a final season that's split into two parts.I'm guessing she means it'll film January or February 2013 to air later that summer. Same thing they're doing this year
Maybe walter grows back his hair in season 5 for a bit
No. That is not how Breaking Bald works. Every character must break bald. Jesse finally went bald last season. Next season will be a complete failure if Badger, Skylar and Walter Jr. all aren't bald by the end of it.

AMC sucks so hard. I hope the overall arch isn't compromised due to the large gap between seasons 5 and 6. I guess this means no 'Fly' episodes.

I'm suspecting a massive cliffhanger at the end of Season 5.
I'm not, I don't think BB is they kind of show that can end on a cliffhanger. I fully expect closure at the end. I think it's a given that there will be a massive cliffhanger at the midseason break. Perhaps the first half of the season Hank will slowly suspect Walt more and more and at the end of episode 8 he confronts him.
I also think Walt will be alive by the end of season 5. He will obviously be a shadow of season 1 Walt. I wouldn't be suprised to see Walt Jr, Skyler (hopefully), Hank and Jessie all dead.
Final scene will be him looking at his empire and starting to cough.
You got it mixed up. When I said Season 5, I meant the first 8 episodes.
One season spread out over two years and we're supposed to just, what, accept? I mean, The Killing gets a full 13 episode this year and we, like, ACCEPT?!
