I did it already. He risked his life to save Hanks when he made Saul put in the tip for the DEA, he did that before he knew he had no money, which means he put his own life at risk (which we know he values most), to make sure nothing happens to Hank.

So he harmlessly poisoned a kid to make sure Gus's plan of dividing Jesse didn't work. Brilliant. He is definitely not sympathetic though, but he isn't coldblooded murder doesn't give about nobody quite yet. I give it till next season for that when Skyler dies lol.

He 'harmlessly' poisoned the kid with an extremely dangerous and deadly poison (so deadly that merely touching it could be dangerous) so he could get Jesse on his side so he could commit three more cold blooded murders before going on to commit two more cold blooded murders before confirming to everyone that he was, in fact, forever a coldblooded murderer.

Your defense is rad, thanks I needed it lmfao

I think this episode is going to be a lot more polarizing than Fly.

Don't know how I feel about it yet. Liked it up until Gus was blown up.

No. The Fly sucked ass. Worst episode ever. This episode was great. Not as good as the last season finale, but still good.

So where the hell will the show go from here? I expect next season will be about Hank & the DEA after Walt & Jesse, possible loose ends like Mike, etc.

Walt vs. Jesse

There's no way the series ends without Jesse finding out about Walt's role in letting Jane's death and Brock being poisoned.

Odd they were showing Batman before the episode. Gus = Two face?

Kind of stupid. Gus was trying to be friendly with Jesse. Why would he have Jesse tased and dragged to cook? Lame.
Well there were behind schedule, and since Gus had nothing to do with the kid getting poisoned he really didn't need to pretend to show remorse for Jesse.

Great finale, I loved it.

I'm tempted to say I want more Heisenberg, but without bumbling Walt (the secretary and Sauls door scene) it loses it's punch a bit. Still, last season it's time to let the leash off!

oh yeah also Walt send his innocent next door neighbor into harms way so he could retrieve some money so he could bribe someone

man isn't he so sweet and for-the-family-ish?

Come on, I need MOAR hilarious blubbering defenses of the man, it's too great

Fly is one of my favorite episodes. I'd go into it, but I'm not going to derail the thread any further.

I liked this episode. I just think if there aren't major repercussions early next season, it will be a joke. Guess I'll have to wait until then...

Beat EviLore at pool.
Next season could be cool they have the whole Walt and Jesse vs Hank. That can lead to Walt vs Jesse. Hank intrest will be very high because he was exactly right about the laundry/meth lab. Jesse could find out about the plant that poisoned Brock.

They wanted 16 episodes for a reason Vince probably has a plan.

1) Jesse was being used as a pawn all season, Walt just snapped him out of it.
2) Walt snapped him out of it by using a poison that he knew wasn't going to harm the kid, he's genius enough to give him that much credit. The docs even told andrea who told jesse it's the kind of poison that comes and goes, Walt obviously knew this.

I'm admitting he isn't that sympathetic overall, but you're definitely trying too hard to make him seem like a coldblooded sociopath/psychotic who doesn't give a fuck about nobody but himself. Just plain not true. He cares about Jesse. He cares about Hank, etc...

He isn't at the level you're making him out to be. Not saying he'll never reach there, not saying he isn't definitely getting close to there, but he isn't there yet, despite your vehement statements that he is.

That was before he developed his sixth sense and figured out he was getting played by walt.

Anyone one else would have done the same. basic survival skills. Me>random neighbor.

I actually think Gus became suspicious of him. And during his transportation, Gus was busy dying. So what good is Jesse anymore?

He was taken back to the lab and forced to cook. Remember the "bodyguard" that Walt shot?

Hm, maybe a combination of both our answers. Because Gus never had him tased and forced to cook.

He factually is. There is literally no sane defense of the alternative. The only people left still trying to act like Walt isn't an abominable monster are people who are literally watching an entirely different show.

But man, keep it going: seriously, comedy gold.

come on, no "Walt is doing this for his family, surely he is a sympathetic and relatable character!" argument?

No takers?

Fuck. I know what's-his-face will give it a shot, where is he?

Dude, every time?

Walt is complex, twisted, and does bad things to serve himself. Like all of us. And we relate because we all do these things in different situations. We understand why he does it, which doesn't make it good or right. As an actor, he is compelling. Who exactly are you trying to call out?

I found Zombie Gus much less unbelievable than the plane crash. The show was just doing Walking Dead a cross-promotional solid.

Walt is not Breaking anymore.

I guessed quite a few plot points, but I didn't read any of the spoilers from this thread. Felt good gentleman.

For now just basking in the afterglow :cigar:

Agreed. Very satisfied with this finale, will make the wait much easier than last season's finale!

And yes, the Fly was the only weak episode in the entire series.

So what now? The DEA starts looking into the coincidence that Gus happened to be with the guy they were just talking too when a bomb goes off?
Also I was expecting a massive fuck-ton explosion from setting the lab on fire.

Yeah, Gus+Tio+laundry burning will spark Hanks ire.

The eventual Jesse vs Walt over Brock will happen.

Wildcard is Mike

Ending with Walt being stopped, either by death (natural or otherwise) or walt under arrest.

5% chance at the series ending with a walt gets away with it ending.

Oh god I hope it's sarcasm because if not this thread keeps delivering. I knew this episode would bring out the psychopaths but this is so brilliant I can't believe it. Mmm mmm keep it going, feels good man

Man, for sure I thought Jesse was going to arrest Walt right there on there on the spot!

Anybody who didn't appreciate the faulty trigger with Tio's belt needs to jump off a cliff, btw.
