I'm pretty damn shy and I often has my head down and when I meet someone new my head go down quite quick after saying hello. This is a problem when I meet women because I usually end up looking down their top by accident. Anyone else have this problem?

I worked for HMV for about a year and a half in a smaller store on IOM. The little guys of the company were great people and even paid for myself and a coworker to visit the huge shop in Manchester to get training. On the small scale they really valued the employee relationship with the customer in terms of identifying what kind of customer you were dealing with and catering to their specific needs. My favorite part of the job was when people would ask for specific artists (I was in charge of the dwindling CD section) and ask for recommendations or ideas of what their son or daughter or cousin would like by mentioning their favorite band. Being paid to share taste and being able to have the satisfaction of turning people on to great music as my job is a joy I had that I will never forget.
It's a real shame they are suffering from the same bankruptcy-behind-closed-doors, bullshit CEO betrayal that's already happened all over the high street with other retailers like GAME. Fucking travesty and I don't know how people sleep at night knowing they've fucked over thousands of hard working employees that always did right by their brand.

Although amusing, brave and quite enlightening to read for some reason, doing something like taking over the company Twitter page for all of 5 mins is so risky on a personal front surely. It could make you quite hard to employ in the future if someone starts spreading dirt about you after such a stunt.

They tend to give you a lot of grief if you're under 30 or never had kids ever. I've been extremely lucky with having a GP that was convinced after talking to me for 10 minutes, and a vasectomy doctor who is (pending a short counselling sessions) convinced if my GP is convinced.
Adoption is exactly what I'd do in the rare chance I wanted kids. Parenting is love and nurture, not genetics.
