Hi guys, I might not be the true britsman who puts sugar in his porridge or whatever, but i've been in the UK since the start of this year and i've been lurking this thread for a long time.

Haha, Glen and Pats are at work, Lee went to the match. So as usual, I lock the door, crank the stereo up, and bounce around the place doing the house work.

Lyrically, Rocky can be a bit amateurish and it's blatantly obvious that without the help of the decent production he gets he wouldn't be where he is today but goddamn his instrumentals are some of the most catchy, soothing, chilled stuff I've heard in a looong time. Furthermore, I haven't seen charisma and confidence (that can be backed up btw) from a rapper like Rocky since

Aesop Rock? The fact that I've only ever heard that name uttered from folk I know who can't stop gushing over fruity pebbles shit like Sigur Ros while sporting their oversized thick Ray Bans and skinny jeans makes me want to steer away from his music. Hell, MC Frontalot's far more interesting.

Rocky may have charisma, but without the production of Clams Casino on his mixtape no one would have given a shit. He literally raps about the same shit in most of his songs, even recycling lines from mixtape to album, "chrome to your dome", and references to shimmy shimmy ya are so common in his music.

The guy just has no lyrical depth, and I hate rappity rap real hip hop nonsense.
