That's the Swiss Guard. They will fuck you up.

They sound terrifying:

Recruits to the guards must be Catholic, single males with Swiss citizenship who have completed basic training with the Swiss military and can obtain certificates of good conduct. Recruits must have a professional degree or high school diploma and must be between 19 and 30 years of age and at least 174 cm (5 ft, 8.5 in) tall

Lol, their definition of invaded is like the most pathetic one they could come up with to say "hey we visited this place with 10 men but they kicked our asses so let's say that is an invasion"

Britain controlled like all of France? Did British people live there and enslave French people. Or was it just like "go about your business and we'll tax you" like the US.

People getting really offended about things that happened ages ago? We didn't do bad for a small little island disconnected form the rest of the world...
Sure bad stuph happened, but we're not still doing it now are we? Think we learned from it all to be honest.

More of a political/feudal thing than actual invasion. After all, Duke William had invaded Britain in 1066 and basically took it over, but still had his bits of France as well (Normandy was a lot bigger then) and it kind of drifted on from there fr the next 400 years or so.

Really? Name one neo-colonial war the US has been in that Britain hasn't?

It's true though. Britain gets off the hook in cultural blame for it's centuries of butchering people.
And what would you have us do? It isn't as if everyone in Britain over the centuries was prospering off the misfortune and misery of others. My dad has traced my family's ancestry back a couple of hundred years and nearly every single one of them were farmers or labourers. I am not going to feel bad for the actions of others who had nothing to do with me or my family.

And yet, British food is still awful.

Is this awful myth still circulating, I guess our restaurants don't count? And in terms of Junk/trash food we easily beat America hands down, I'd like to think shops would never sell the cheap shit that is Twinkies!

So do the Romans and the Mongols, but no-one's billed them yet.

The Mongolians are looked at historically as butchers. The Romans didn't butcher as many people as the British - you can't claim the Romans depopulated a continent (there used to be Native Americans in North America). And anyway, neither Rome nor the Monglian Empire exists anymore. Britain does. And last time I checked they were still using their army in neo-colonial wars too (at least Iraq).

Neo-colonialism =/= military invasion.

You statement was about people getting angry about things that happened "ages" ago. But it's not ages. It's contemporaneous. Britain is a colonial power in 2012.

I'm not saying British people are bad. I wouldn't call Germans or Japanese people bad. But they get historical and cultural condemnation for all the killing they did. The British do not. That's my only statement

People act as if Britain was alone in its actions, if it didn't compete with other world powers it would have fallen to them. This holds true across all of Europe.

Also Native Americans fought with the British against the Americans in the revolution. Lets not play about here. Britain was hardly the worlds butcher, nor did it ever wear a white dress.
EDIT: Nor did Britain control that much of the United States; and they held onto Canada where natives hold more communities than in the States.

While the UK never invaded Guatemala proper, they did "steal" part of what Guatemala considers as theirs: British Honduras, now known as Belize.

The only real surprise on that list is Sweden though.

Has Sweden ever been invaded and conquered?

The Russians made mincemeat of the Swedes in the 18th century and took Finland from them.

Just the way these things were sorted out back then.

Also quite a few of those 'invasions' were as part of saving the world from the nazis etc.
