The documentary continues to be fantastic, even if as a fan it's been a bit of a bummer lately.
The price doesn't help (I think 25 is fine but it's hard to sell that when only half the game is there atm), the tidal wave of bad press before launch with the split and then at launch with the attempted 'gentlemen's embargo' didn't help (nor did reviews going up two weeks before launch and the potential for impulse buys), the general backlash against Kickstarter games didn't help, and finally some bad impressions of the game didn't help... even though the overwhelming reception was positive there was a whole lot of negativity surrounding the launch overall. It really does seem like there would be a chance for a big second push when Act 2 releases though, largely free of the baggage of the first launch.
It's a shame that it fell off the App Store top sellers list so fast, but it seems like iPad games can stick around for a while sales-wise especially if they wind up on the year-end best lists.
