Guy probably got inspired by solid gold S|X controller, so he managed to pull off recreating shape of PS5 from brass. What amazes me is that he used really basic tooling and principles, while the result is looking amazing in my opinion:



For general use brass > gold.

Hmm, it's not much of an issue for musical instruments.

You could achieve a similar effect with vinyl wrap in a tenth of the effort and time.

Polished brass that doesn't tarnish is usually coated in a protectant. He's going to be going through a lot of Brasso.

In theory sure, but when you have plastic all around, not so much.
