Burnout Paradise = $8 on PSN RIGHT NOW. Buy it or get banned.

Or get banned? OH CRAP, NOW I NEED A PSN CARD. WHERE IS IT?

I'll probably get it, since I love Burnout and I didn't get this one at launch.

While I'm not as big of a trophy whore as I used to be, I'm afraid the online community might be lacking nowadays so completing online events might be difficult? Not true? Maybe this sale will breathe life into that. 8 dollars is really good and I still haven't gotten this..

Amazon.com sell them (Online Game Code)

I buy PSN cards for a reason and that is that I don't have a CC. Or I'd have this baby already in my HDD.

I already had it on disc, but I bought it anyway and am going to trade my disc in to Amazon for 6 dollars in credit. 1.99 for the bundles and convenience I guess.

Gonna have to snag a PSN card while I'm out running errands tomorrow, as I loved this game the time I rented it. Hopefully the sale will still be ongoing, and hopefully accessible from the web version of the store. My ps3 ylod'd last week and won't be back from repair till Friday lol

Who has a Live camera? Seriously.

I do. :(

I got mine when Ubisoft decided to make an achievement for it in the first Rainbow Six Vegas where you had to scan your face.

The MediaGo/PSP Store only displays PSP compatible stuff. You'll need a PS3 to access the PS3 Store. The sale should be up for at least a week.

Yeah but he shouldn't wait until Tuesday...

Great game, looking forward to the next Burnout game in 2012 hopefully. Swapped my disc version of Burnout with the digital version over a year ago already, so ban avoided:-)

And looking forward to all those bans incoming for Nintendo/iPhone/retro gamers, who can't buy this (PC and 360 owners can at least buy it, is it required to buy it on PSN store to avoid the ban?)

Damn PSN is down for me. I'll but this as soon as it starts working again. Almost picked it up so many times in the past, I can't wait to get some Burnout in my life again. Last one I played was on PS2.

How's the music in the game?

And can you use custom soundtracks in the game? I'll probably get it, but I'm just curious.

The licensed soundtrack is on par with most of EA's licensed soundtracks, or in other words, completely awful. However, they did patch in a classical music playlist that actually kinda fits in a weird way.

But yes, it supports custom OST's. It's the best way to play, granted you don't have shitty taste in music.

Same here. Was pumped to go home and grab Big Surf Island. Friggen Sony keep your network up.

Patch in classical music? I remember having classical music from the start. Was it not available before or something?

Okay, you win Wario.

Is this new? Amazon has $10 codes. I thought they only had $20 and $50 before.

Anyway, thanks to the $10 code, I said what the hell. Bought.

No, PSN $10 cards are OLD NEWS by a good year or two. It's just they're finally coming out now, I guess. I've been waiting for them for the times where I just want one item that's $10 or less. So good if Amazon has them, means they'll hopefully be rolling them to retail places soon.

Ah, maybe you're right, it's been a while but for some reason I thought it was part of one of the free updates.

I thought he was asking about Amazon offering digital $10 codes. I've never seen them sell $10 digital codes, just $20 and $50.

I only know because I would idle in the game and the screensaver thing would activate with classical music. lol

*shrug* I've never seen the $10 in the wild yet, but I know Sony's had plans for them for a good while now.

I've only seen them at Best Buy. They've had it for years

iirc, when the game first came out, you were only able to listen to the classical music when the game was paused. one of the updates allowed you to listen to the classical pieces during actual gameplay (which is something i really, really enjoy).

I've got it on PC through steam already, but wondering if the Big Island DLC is worth the 11$? It never came to PC iirc and if it's really good then I don't mind paying the money, as I love this game.

Never have and never will enjoy open world Burnout.

I'm with you. I tried the demo and was winning a race when I took a wrong turn and ended up far off course and lost. I don't want to memorize routes in a Burnout game, I want the cross streets blocked off.

I only play with the classical music and some of the synth music that the development team created. I can't stand the blaring rock and roll/heavy metal licensed songs they put in there.
