Question to buyers: Say you get a great deal on a item like rare game and may have even talked a seller down to a lower price....does that leave room to complain about terrible packaging, minor damage or even shipping? Is that being ungrateful?

Slower shipping or minor damage obviously the fault of the carrier? No, because lowering price might mean the seller decided to use cheaper packaging/shipping.

That said, if the packing is so bad that it could reasonably be predicted it wouldn't protect the contents, then yeah, I think you can complain.
