ok. I bought something from someone here on the 20th. I have been waiting very patiently, PM'd them, and they just responded about 10 minutes ago that they have shipped the item since last we spoke (2 days ago).

They mention the item should arrive by this coming Monday.

Is this a red flag ? I payed via paypal.

I have been very patient, and communication has been very lackluster on their part.

I payed good money for the items I purchased. The seller first mistakenly gave me the wrong email to send the money to via paypal. Then I waited a day and a half for paypal to return the money to my account so I can pay them to the right email that the seller eventually gave me. During the period when the seller gave me the wrong email for payment, he/she was frantically sending me PM after PM saying sorry and whatnot about the mistake - which is understandable.

However, when I asked for the item's condition, and if it had been shipped at all after I had sent the payment to the second and correct email, it took several days before they responded, and this time it was a whole paragraph constituting how they work from 8 to 10 (which is understandable) and that adam sandler's movie familyville or whatever was done filming in the town and that because of the movie production, the postal service there was taken aback and left in disarray, but still, as a seller, it would be prudent and appreciative to me the buyer if the item's delivery status would have been mentioned, and not just left in limbo.

When the seller responded in the initial PM about the items I was interested in, said that they were 'almost' neogaf gold in the initial PM, I looked them up, and there was only 1, and only 1 positive feedback on their sell column.

When they finally responded just the day before (8.28), they somehow said that they were Ebay gold, and that the item was just shipped last time we had spoken and that it should arrive on Monday...

Ask for a tracking number. If he doesn't pm you tracking number then I would just file a claim with paypal.

"Hey. I am pretty positive I am having an issue with the same seller. Veronica? I don't think you're being impatient.

In my case it's been dragging on for over a month. My package got lost they say. They have said they will refund me + $50 after the package didn't arrive when they said it would, one week ago today. Still though, no refund yet. Long PMs every couple days is what I get. I am giving them until Monday to refund me before I file dispute. I will let you know if they pull through though seeing someone else getting the same run around isn't exactly raising my confidence level you know?

This is the final nail in the coffin for me. From anecdotal experience, the multiple red flags that I saw, and Lambtron's long month delay, I have no choice but to file a claim - I really don't want to wait until I am in the same situation as lambtron. I really have been patient and understanding, and the seller just wasn't communicating anything at all about the delays and whether the item was shipped at all. Lambtron has been far more considerate about all this, but it has been a MONTH in his case, and MORE THAN A WEEK since the supposed refund and reimbursement for troubles caused towards him - I don't tolerate this at all.

If I had to guess, I'd say the seller probably took the money and used it without setting some aside for shipping. So you're probably waiting on a paycheck to come to them.

I had a situation like this once (with someone who is now a notable indie game developer, actually) and I'm pretty sure that's what was going on there, too. It took months to get a couple games I traded for. The person made up for it by sending me a few extra games, which were pirated GBA carts with bad save batteries, but, meh, at least it got resolved.

Gundam Perfect Grades From the Gundam Thread:
So I have several perfect grades I picked up second hand that I was actually planning to paint and really put together, but I am now realizing I will never get around to it. Anybody have any interest in picking these up from me? Because they are second hand, they aren't perfect. Some have panel lining, some might have a couple of pieces missing. I can also throw in some of the paints I was going to be working with (just spray cans, I never got around to the airbrush stage).

I've got 2 Titans Colors Mark II, one in pieces (disassembled for painting, not on sprues), and one box with manuals.
1 AEUG Mark II, with box.
Between the three of them, I've got one good condition backpack, one okay condition, and one in pretty rough shape.
1 Wing Zero, no box, and I believe complete with the exception of a missing pinky manipulator, and some of the character figures. His digits are actually smaller than the other Gundams, as I did see if I could use a manipulator from one of the MK-IIs in its place.
1 Zeta Gundam. Missing a pinky finger as well, and a piece of shoulder armor. With manuals, no box.
Anyways, I'll hit B/S/T and eBay eventually, just wanted to see if anyone was interested. If you are let me know and I'll look into a figure to tell you if it is panel lined, anything might be missing, pictures, etc.

As an overall disclaimer, I am giving the best information I have, and these are largely in good condition, but none of them are perfect.
