Would anyone want to buy a 5,000 yen Japanese Nintendo eShop card?

I bought it from Play-Asia by accident (I'd meant to buy a Japanese PSN card) and can't use it due to a lack of Japanese Nintendo systems. I'm trying to get a refund from Play-Asia but I doubt they're going to do it seeing as I can't proove I haven't used the code. It would be a lot easier if I could just sell it to someone else.

I paid $63 for the card, so if I could get $60 of that back that would be awesome. If that's too much, make an offer. Thanks!

Looking to see if there is any interest in Sweet Home english version on NES. This is a reproduction cart. Colored red. Never released in retail in the US. Come with high quality box, instructions, case, etc. Timewalk doesn't exist anymore so these I figure will be pretty rare. I've had my time with the game and loved it but If anyone is interested in picking this up. I'd love to give a fellow GAF member a chance to add to it's collection. It's in excellent shape. I am going out on a lim and started a neutral/negative feedback for kyoakuma
I am making a trade of x2 video cards for the xbox one he has listed HERE

After having a mutual agreement to send the items with next day or even 2-3 day shipping.I stood by my word and he did not, We made the deal on Thursday and he sent it out Saturday morning, by that time he already had the video card but lied and said he sent it on Friday (which I should have received Monday/Tuesday).

After PM'ing him multiple times I finally got a tracking and he has it for Home delivery to my work address for July 5th. Since the office is closed on weekends for deliveries, and Home delivery does not deliver on Monday, they work from Tuesday- Saturday, I wont be seeing this package until Next Tuesday. I for one, will definitely not doing anymore transactions with this dude, especially since he has been ignoring my PM's since. I will possibly not even trade on the forum anymore, I will stick to what I do best and sell stuff

While it's certainly bad luck, I don't think it's fair to just chuck it to that element alone as it appears kyoakuma voided their agreement and decided to ship out the package whenever and however most convenient to him/her despite BeEatNU shipping via an expedited service.

I've always found trading rather risky business as there are so many factors that can go wrong and leave you getting the short end of the stick or worse.

And usually I shy away from it.
As we are a community with feedback in place, I went along with that in mind and thought since we agreed, faster shipping would alleviate any issues.
It seem I was wrong :(

Maybe trading should start featuring optional moderators as middlemen. Both ship their things to whatever willing moderator, and once both items arrive, that mod will ship both items to their destination.

See there's a couple of things, I don't think most or any mods want to deal with that burden or extra work.

The reason why this community has grown to where it's at now is due to its self progress/resolve.

I am sure I will get the stuff (due to tracking and such) but it's all semantics. if a group of people agree to something, best is to just follow through with it.

Frankly, I would have the user with lower positive feedback ship first and provide a confirmed tracking number and shipping speed. Once that's provided and satisfactory, I'd then ship out my package the very next day using the same method to reciprocate their timeliness.

It's obviously slanted in one's favor, but it seems the easiest way to avoid situations like these without calling for third parties or tons of guesswork.

yeah and normally this is what I do, I just happen to go for a multiple shipping agreement to please the masses.

Sorry to hear about the bad experience Beat, hope things end up working out ok. I can understand the frustration, nothing more worrying than shipping out expensive items and being left in the dark with no communication. People need to realize if something comes up, being open and honest is always 100% better than hiding or running from the issue. On one hand I can understand because I did that once or twice on eBay when I was teenager, but I learned my lesson after someone else did it back to me and it's just not fair to anyone to operate in that fashion.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience. I agree that people should absolutely hold up whatever agreement they make. Failing to do so, however minor it seems to them, may have major ramifications for other parties involved. It also simply reflects poorly on you if you fail to do what you agree to. There are always extenuating circumstances though. Did he offer any type of reasoning for changing the agreement without notice? Also, I know there have been several trades where the other party involved didn't receive my PM. Luckily one, or both of us followed up after a short amount of time so we were able to negate any potential problem.

Anyway, I've not done any transactions for you, but I hate to see someone else have a bad experience and no longer be willing to trade on here. I hope it all works out for you.

Oh, definitely. I'm not attributing it solely to bad luck. It's just bad luck he had that deal. I tend to avoid juniors.

TBH I almost always ask to receive the item before I contribute my end of the trade. I'm not going to say it's fair to the sender, but I just don't like taking risks with trades. Of course if I traded with someone who had better rep than me, I wouldn't mind sending first. But usually most of the people who want to do trades are newer members or those with less feedback.

It'd be quite expensive and quite a bit of trouble. The mod would have to open the package, ensure everything is there and works appropriately without damaging anything, then reseal the package and have it shipped out. Shipping itself would cost at least $10-20 for each item if they're a decent size. I'd expect any middleman to want to get compensated for the extra work so that'd add like $20-30 to each size of the transaction. Not worth it IMO.
