There's too much overreaction and too little professionalism going on. Both you and the one accusing you of scamming, should clarify any discrepancy with the photo with each other before bringing it out to the thread (whether y'all did or not, idk). I know that he was the one who posted first and accused you (which should've been handled better) but reacting the way you did could've been better.

I didn't want to bring it out in the thread, but when someone else informed me of similar issues they had w/ them, then I felt it was necessary to to come to the thread to voice concern. When the situation was almost exact to mine, it felt fishy and I did not want others to have to deal with it

That's understandable and I think it's always encouraged (and appreciative) to voice any concern especially with any kind of issues with a deal you are trying to make. If there are any fishy/shady business going on, I would inform them something doesn't feel right to me. If they don't seem to handle that well, then I would share my concern/issue with the thread. Everyone should be mindful of each others reputation.

To be honest that had nothing to do with confusing naming choices but rather some not reading with comprehension. The guy plainly said he wanted to trade is Vita towards a "X1 with kinect" and pay the difference in cash. If, "X1", threw anyone off, "...with Kinect" should have made it more the obvious he was talking about the latest console that's $400+, especially giving the fact he wanted to trade a item easily $100+ towards getting it. Come on.

That wasn't the problem. The confusion came because there was a proposed trade of JUST an Xbox One for JUST a Vita. It's not often you see someone enthusiastically offering a much more expensive item for a cheaper item. Not that I care what people offer each other in this thread, but a junior member with zero feedback offering a seemingly too-good-to-be-true price? I figured I'd clarify things before someone got burned. People can argue the merits of whether only the console itself is worth a Vita (it's worth much more IMO) but I'll note that I interpreted "just the console" as "without games and maybe controller, but with cables." Anyway, I didn't mean to screw up anyone's trades. I just feel like it's our responsibility as a community to foster a safe trading environment. If someone wants to get mad because they're not clear, that's their own problem. I've sold several consoles in the past and used the phrase "console only" to mean wires included, controllers/games not. Plus, it boggles my mind how you'd have an Xbox One at this point in its life cycle with no power brick. In any case, it doesn't really matter in the end. I'm sorry to cyber_ninja if I screwed up his trade.

1-cyber_ninja offered to trade a Vita with cash for XBox 1 with Kintect (the latest console)
2-Isleofsancroy offers a "Xbox 1, by itself, without anything, for a Vita lol"
3-You asked if be meant the original Xbox as that would essentially be trading $300 for $100.

I thought Isleofsancroy was clueless to cyber_ninja wanting the latest XBox One with Kintect and in fact was jokingly/mockingly offering to trade a original XBox for for the Vita because who the fuck would do that.....but that was in fact what he meant

I'm going to be blunt: it's not simple math as much as Isleofsancroy thinks it is. He was right in thinking it was comparable trade and people overreacted, but he abandoned that discussion so I won't go into it (it's not easy at all finding an official ac adapter for the Xbox One). However, instead of being helpful and elaborating what he was selling exactly, he decided to be patronizing and post that earlier. Moreover, this incident shows how much is presumed when a person is selling a PS3, 360, Wii, etc. It's generally assumed everything is included or console plus cables unless stated otherwise, so Isleofsancroy can remain obtuse if he thinks he was perfectly clear.

Had no idea that my post would spark so much controversy and arguing. I was watching the aftermath of my post but was unable to pitch in due to work. My schedule is pretty tight; even right now I'm typing from my phone, but I'll throw my two cents in it.
I would not deal with "that guy" because:

1. He never made me an offer;
2. His name and join date did not look trustworthy to me.
3. The way he hinted at possible trade was immature IMO;
